HG Insights offers a variety of supplementary insights in addition to firmographic data that allows for much more holistic, and informed insights, about companies and trends.
I have not noted any significant downsides.
HG Insights help solve better ideal customer profiles and populations. It also helps us understand other similarly-situated software and technology companies. We also are able to conduct trends and forecasting using their insights.
Best in market competitive install insights. In addition, other sets of digital signals are complementing HG's digital platform to deliver robust strategic use cases in high demand by various companies.

Not only is the data and interface incredibly useful, but the support from the team has proven to be very valuable. But what I like best about HG Insights is that they continue to deliver value. When we first engaged HG Insights we had a small use case that they were able to satisfy. Since then, they have worked with us to better understand how their data and service can be leveraged to expand the number of use cases we now use. They put in th effort to build a partnerhsip and we now see more value today then we did when we first started using them.
Not much. There have been some limitations in the way their product data is categorized that presented a minor challenge, but they have been more than happy to work with us to get these addressed over the course of our partnership.
We primarily leverage HG Insights to solve two key problems:
1. Identify organizations that are currently using a specific competitive solution (or set of solutions) in order to build lists of target accounts for outbound prospecting efforts.
2. Research specific accounts we are engaged with to better understand their technology landscape and how our solution might be of most value.
In addition to this, we leverage HG Insights data as part of our account scoring process by incorporating their technographic data into our model to better identify best fit accounts to prospect into.

While the data is stellar, the platform isn't fully mature, and we have bumped up against some capability limitations there. However, the platform limitations are overcome with help from the data services team at HG, and excellent communication with our CSM.
