- Complogix is by far the most flexible, adaptable, and user-friendly product I have used, including Workday, Oracle, and Excel sheets.
- The product has many configuration options but is not overwhelming to learn and use. It can be as simple or as complicated as you need it to be.
- Most of what enterprise systems such as Workday calls "customization" is considered "configuration" in Complogix, so it is cheaper and faster to make changes.
- I've used Complogix to administer multiple merit & stock cycles and bonus payout processes. We changed the rules each time with no problem at all. You can set up buttom up or top-down budgets or use both methods at the same time (which is rare to do using an enterprise comp system).
- It is straightforward to set up once you decide on the rules you want to set for the user e.g. We can prevent managers from submitting if they are over budget, but we can allow VPs (or any defined group) to submit over budget. If your process is complex, you will need to decide what calculations you will use (e.g. will you have a promotions budget vs merit budget), do you want to prevent managers from entering above a certain amount (e.g. don't allow more than 15% increase), do you want the managers to stay within salary range, etc. Admins have access to make some of these changes, or you may need to work with Complogix team to set up some of the rules and customizations.
- System is also very adaptable and supports the growth and maturity of an organization. We started using Complogx as Excel replacement for the first time. Within two years, our needs and processes became more complex, and we were able to use Complogix to meet changing business needs. For example, we used Complogix to make two major changes to the job and comp structure and improved user experience (manager view) each merit cycle. 1. we utilized the system to create a job structure from scratch. We created job family/function/positions with dependencies (e.g. if job family is X, only show ABC job functions, if the job function is B, only show 123 positions/jobs, for job 2, show the salary range for the country). Once managers reviewed and made changes to their team in Complogix, the new structure was uploaded to our HRIS system. 2. we moved from an amount-based bonus structure to % of base structure during merit cycle, where we allowed bonus changes and promotions (with different bonus targets). We tracked multiple bonus budgets due to the amount to % move in addition to the merit budget with no problem. We were able to execute both of these structural changes in 8 months (with a bonus payout and mid-year merit cycle between #1 and #2). This timing and level of complexity wouldn't be possible with a different system due to resources and cost. I look forward to using their 9box capability for the next project.
- The support team is always available and happy to help if we need to make configuration changes.
- I haven't used delivered analytics very much as our focus has been elsewhere, but the basic visuals are there and can also be configured.
I am yet to be disappointed. Having used multiple enterprise systems before, I used to go into meetings with Complogix team with "I wish we could do XYZ..." mindset expecting to hear, "we need customization" or "we can't do that do that". Now, I consider the business needs first, then the best way to deliver, and talk to the team about "how can we deliver XYZ...".
- The system makes configuration easy and fast. We have a compensation team of 1 and HRIS team of 1. We also have a growing and evolving business, and we change configuration rules with almost every cycle. So user-friendliness on the admin side is crucial, and Complogix makes configuration changes a breeze saving us time and money
- The system is also user friendly for managers. Change is always hard, and moving from a process (excel in our case) managers were comfortable with to a system could have been challenging. We kept the configuration very simple the first time. We added rules and complexity each time as we needed it. Adoption was a breeze.
- So far, Complogix has solved all the compensation administration problems I have had with enterprise systems. You can have no structure or a complex one. The system can handle either.
- The team always has a "how can we solve this problem" mindset. They have compensation and system experts. For example, when I was working on Workday implementation. I was working with a system expert who didn't know compensation processes, so they couldn't offer alternatives to ways of getting around a system limitation. And since I didn't know the system, I couldn't come up with backdoor ways. Complogix team has both types of expertise, so you always get valuable input on how others solve similar problems to yours.
CompLogix is configurable, easy to teach leaders to use and an all-around solid compensation management solution.
The system met all of my expectations and the expectations of the leadership team.
CompLogix allowed us to combine our annual budgeted dollars as well as utilize an overall percentage for most employees.
This is an easy teach for our organization.
So far I do not have anything that I did not like.
Our planners are able to see their percentages and where they are at with their approved budgets.

We wish we could edit our own formulas behind the scenes and make changes to the comp statements.

The customization provided by CompLogix allows it to meet the ever-expanding needs of a company operating on a global landscape.
The only thing I can recall is that there was no easy way to view log changes to a profile on a detailed basis. Only a last changed.
CompLogix provides a place for every leader in the company to quickly and accurately provide input on their subordinates for an annual compensation cycle.
CompLogix takes the ease of a spreadsheet and puts it into a user-friendly SSO system. Year-end compensation planning improved 100% for us by using CompLogix, as we were coming from spreadsheet planning. The ability to generate compensation statements and the system's ability to set up different compensation programs also helped tremendously.
There were no downsides to using CompLogix. Our account representative was extremely helpful in setting up our system and responsive to our inquiries during our cycle. I would highly recommend this tool to others.
CompLogix solved our problem of not having a system to plan year-end compensation for 1,000 employees. The Compensation planners were delighted this year since they no longer needed to plan in a spreadsheet. The system also reduces our risk of emailing sensitive information to the wrong person/people.
Complogix really helped us improve our efficiency at year-end. It was easy to set up for us as administrators based on our unique compensation plans and easy for our leaders to use during year-end compensation planning.
There isn't much that I didn't like about Complogix. I think the tool really helped us to find areas that we can improve upon during the next compensation planning cycle.
CompLogix helped us to move away from Excel spreadsheets during the year-end compensation process. It allowed us to be more efficient, user-friendly, and better report out with respect to budgets.
CompLogix provides a consultative approach built around our business needs. We've had to iterate at the business changes, and they've delivered flawlessly. They're very easy and fair to work with while providing exceptional consultation. They were also able to build in and automate some of our out of the process reports and analytics. This has enabled us to be more strategic. Thank you for this!! We're looking forward to exploring new tools and further collaboration.
CompLogix does not tie directly in with the HCM, however can be built if desired. We've used our time and resources on further automation, which this is of minimal concern.
We've solved simplicity for our internal customer, along with data handling and significant automation.
Complogix was intuitive and very customizable. The vendor support is terrific, and we were able to implement and go-live within a very short period of time. We received a lot of positive feedback from our end users.
We didn't automate data loads between Complogix and our HR system, so there was a number of opportunities to automate; the Complogix team was very supportive in making it work though!
Scalability of our process; we needed a system that was easy to use and quick to implement and administer. Having Complogix as our comp planning tool allowed us to run our comp cycle successfully!
