Easiest way to give 401K to your employees

What do you like best about Guideline?

Guideline makes everything easy. You set things up through Quickbooks online and just activate it for your employees. The employees have all the control and it's so easy to manage online.

What do you dislike about Guideline?

I don't think there is anything I don't like about Guideline.

What problems is Guideline solving and how is that benefiting you?

Guideline allows me to offer retirement savings for my employees--even as a small firm.

Small company but need big time service? No problem

What do you like best about Guideline?

Easy process to sign up and track the progress. Implementation was quick and efficient.

What do you dislike about Guideline?

I haven't found a negative yet, I would prefer integrated billing with my payroll provider (not a separate invoice/transaction).

Provide a 401(k) to a very small employee pool.

Super Easy 401K - Great Automation

What do you like best about Guideline?

It is very easy to use. Integrates well with Zenefits and Gusto. Set it and forget it.

What do you dislike about Guideline?

They changed their pricing. It got more expensive.

Easy to use. Great benefit to employees.

We're now able to offer 401K, like the companies. Our Employee are saving, which is good for them. We are a more competitive employer.

Liked Using Guideline - Very Simple

What do you like best about Guideline?

The transitional process when moving to another software was very easy. They made everything very simple to do and made us aware of all changes that would happen ahead of time.

What do you dislike about Guideline?

Not at this time. Would work with them again.

Guideline is easy to use!

What do you like best about Guideline?

Guideline was able to get our small company set up with a 401k quickly, and seamlessly. They explained our options in a language we understood and are always available for any questions that arise.

What do you dislike about Guideline?

We have not had any negative experiences with guideline.

What problems is Guideline solving and how is that benefiting you?

Guideline integrates with Gusto, our HR/Payroll portal, which helps solve the issue of having another technology company to vet. We trusted Gusto to provide us with an option for 401k and have loved working with Guideline.

Guideline for 401k

What do you like best about Guideline?

It is super easy to use because it is integrated with my payroll system. It is easy to find reports on contributions and my monthly statements. Fees are very reasonable.

What do you dislike about Guideline?

I have not experienced anything negative about my work with Guideline.

The product integrates with my payroll system and my bank to efficiently make the employees' contributions as well as the company contribution.

What do you like best about Guideline?

I was up and running in minutes, so I didn’t have to carve out a ton of administrative time up front. Now I spend less than 30 minutes a month on filings, record keeping, and compliance

What do you dislike about Guideline?

—Guideline takes care of it all behind the scenes. The flat monthly fee is refreshingly straightforward, with no surprise charges or hidden costs, and syncing with our Gusto payroll happens automatically, saving me even more time.

Recommendations to others considering Guideline?

My team actually uses the intuitive dashboard and mobile app, and Guideline’s friendly, responsive support feels like an extension of our small-business family.

Accounting Firms Love Guideline!

What do you like best about Guideline?

Native 360 integration with Gusto, portal user interface, customer service, everything is so easy to use and the guidance support when transitioning or starting a plan are wonderful.

What do you dislike about Guideline?

Absolutely nothing - We prefer Guideline to any other 401k platform.

They have an accountant portal that lets us manage all of our clients in one place.

Seamless Integration with QuickBooks

What do you like best about Guideline?

The integration with QuickBooks makes life easy. The process to enroll in the plan and manage employees is easy to get started and maintain.

What do you dislike about Guideline?

I wish the options and features were better explained for the different plans. I feel like I was guided into a specific plan for my company and wasn't sure what options I really had. I am not a fan of the auto-enroll for new employees, but I think that is a requirement for the plan I selected and not due to Guideline, but I wish some of this was better explained during enrollment.

What problems is Guideline solving and how is that benefiting you?

The thought of adding 401(k) for my employees seemed daunting, but Guideline really made the process of implementing a 401(k) plan easy. The integration with QuickBooks takes that ease to the next level.
