Of course, not everything is perfect with Google cloud storage. It found some downsides that I don't like, and the support costs are quite high, downloading data from Google Cloud Storage is expensive, and personally, I find the Google Cloud Srorage Platform web interface a bit confusing.

I'm a very frequent user of Google Cloud Storage and what I like best is the very efficient use under all points of view. As a matter of fact, you can quickly share informations with your colleagues, besides checking and having access to your shared files.

As a frequent user, I got used to the interface, but I think there should be a massive improvement on that.

This service is a wonderful addition to the Google Suite. The manual process is a long and tedious one. This service allows you to make quick work of transferring data from one user to another. If you frequently have users who leave the company or have any separation, this tool can save you a lot of up front time and effort.

When using this service. It places the files in the root folder of the user it is transferred to. If you had a good organization structure, you will have to redo it. Having to completely re-organize and re-share all your files can be a total hassle when you have the structure that our company has. The Team Drives feature that google has now implemented can help solve some of these issues, however the Team Drives feature also has many issues of its own.

Make sure you have a good back up of your organization structure so that you dont lose the placement of your files.

It speeds up a process that could take a long time with Google Drive's normal processes. Having to manually transfer files when a user leaves the suite takes a very long time. This is a fast and secure process. When we have a user who leaves the company, it is easy to get a copy of all the documents they have been storing. Once you transfer the documents to the correct party, you can deal with organization afterwards.

I loved how fast we were able to quickly import online date into the Cloud Storage. What’s great additionally is the automatic and repeated schedule features for transferring data, with the bonus of an even faster data transfer from one bucket to another within the Cloud Storage itself. Amazing features.

It's not that straightforward to use and some prior IT knowledge is necessary for proper data transfer.

I find being able to access my files anywhere and being able to share my files is extremely helpful.

I use Google Sheets most often and it's a little counterintuitive when you're used to MS Excel. Also, when I try to copy / cut / paste I have a lot of trouble with that from my home computer. It doesn't allow me to do the keyboard shortcuts and I can't right click to paste, etc.

After an 'incident' that caused us to lose historical data, we felt safer putting everything in Google Cloud rather than our servers in order to maintain our historical data.
