The Gensuite EHS software applications, from the company of the same name in Cincinnati, cover six functional program areas: Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and Sustainability, Quality, Safety, Responsible Sourcing, Product Administration and Asset Management of Equipment to ensure the needs of the workplace are fully covered.
The only problem that I can find with the gensuite platform is that most companies aim to raise 3 observation cards per month to each employee, and just by complying with this, the situation can lend itself to improper use invented the situations of risk observed to meet the goal.
efinitely and I would recommend the Gensuite platform to manage the care of the environment and the safety of employees in the company, it is a fundamental tool that can prevent dangerous occasions and that may be harmful to the work environment, obviously each employee must do their part to put it to good use.
This platform has managed to keep risk situations in the workplace controlled and evaluated, it allows to have a control and a history of the situations, as well as to force the closure of an observation card within a certain period of time.
I like the fact that Gensuite is an interface that allows for event management in a group perspective. Sending reminders for investigation follow ups to managers as well as allows for data pull very easily. Gensuite analytics are useful for large scale trending analysis as well. The support provided through conferencing is also very useful. All in all, it is a powerful tool that is often underutilized but performs a range of functions. Compliance calendar is great for ensuring employees are completing necessary inspections and follow ups as required.
The vastness. Maybe too powerful of a tool. New users have to get climatized to the system to ensure efficient usage. Gensuite lightning videos to ensure the tool is used well are a great start to helping alleviate this discomfort.
Take time to understand applications and go through training to ensure you are being efficient as possible.
Service interruptions for maintenance upgrades. Sometimes there are permissions issues that create a hurdle. Making the permissions simple and easy to manage would be an improvement opportunity.
It's help you to operationalize the foundation of your ESG program. Help to minimise risk, and enhance safety programs.
I see some lags in working with the software otherwise it's a very good software

The document manager helps organize and clean the documents of my company.
The learning curve of this program is pretty steep. I was given the beta program and the interface can be confusing.
Focus on what you need the program to do when buying it, so you don't get useless abilities.
The review process of the documents is straightforward to do and effective. The documents are easy to track the status and confirm that they are reviewed.
The website is quite simple and very plain as not to confuse you as you're navigating thru it.

Speed of the website to find exactly what i am looking for
The ability to identify injury trends is a beneficial feature. I am also grateful for the e-mail reminders that let you know when tasks, documents, or reports are due, past due, or closed.
The Injury & Illness Record keeping functionality is also a great feature.
Customization can be difficult, and time-consuming. I also think the software is relatively expensive.
Gensuite management software is a powerful tool that will meet most or all of your EHS needs. It's a great tool for developing and implementing effective compliance programs.
The problems I'm solving are making it easier to track and trend injuries and required reporting. The benefits realized are turning these trends into a formula for reducing injuries and lost-time incidents, as well as getting reports submitted in a timely manner.
I like that everything is one place and the info is easily accessible.
Genusuite sometimes isn’t user friendly especially when it comes to providing all of the permissions.

One of the things I like best about Gensuite is that it provided a wealth of information, as long as one knows how to use it correctly and has the proper permissions in place. I believe that Gensuite is a very useful tool because it can be used as a repository for information and is much more effective than for example a network drive at providing accurate record-keeping. I think it is very important for keeping people on the same page and creating cohesiveness in the workplace.
I dislike Gensuite because it is not intuitive to use and the interface is difficult to navigate without prior knowledge of the software. I have found that Gensuite sometimes glitches with no explanation, creating havoc as we work to understand what we did wrong and then ultimately realize that it was the software that caused the problem. I also dislike the lack of customizability of the homepage and the layout of it in general.
I would recommend that you use Gensuite overall but I would not use it as my only source of information, as the site glitches sometimes and the support is not always reliable. I think that it is most useful as a tool for people who are in a management position because it allows for tracking of many different items including audits and yearly data. The only issue that I have with it is that sometimes it provides more information than a person would need and that is a source of confusion.
The business problem we are solving with Gensuite is universal tracking of deadlines, patient cases, and upcoming audits which are all important components of our job that are time-sensitive in nature. We have realized that one of the benefits of Gensuite is that it allows us to communicate between shifts even when we are not able to speak to each other in person to give an update about what happened. We have also realized that Gensuite is a very good tool for providing us with digital backup copies of all our paper health records and forms in the event that we needed them.
