GCPay is a life saver

What do you like best about GCPay?

Managing compliance. Our subs are now forced to submit required compliance docs that we've struggled with getting in the past.

What do you dislike about GCPay?

I am not a huge fan of the GCPay generated AIA but we've found a work a round. Subs have to submit an actual invoice in order to move forward thru the process.

What problems is GCPay solving and how is that benefiting you?

Compliance. We're able to collect diversity reports, lien waivers, and subcontracts more than ever.

GC Pay is THE BEST!

What do you like best about GCPay?

The customer service is unbeatable! Quick and so friendly. They are always happy to help and it so easy to get things taken care of. We never have issues with integration! I use GC Pay every day and wouldn't want to go any other route.

What do you dislike about GCPay?

I have nothing negative to say about GC Pay. I am so impressed with every aspect of it!

Makes paying subs seamless and easy. Customer service solves any problem you put in front of them.

What do you like best about GCPay?

GCpay is extremely simple to use. Streamlines the entire billing process and not just for the Contractor but for the Subcontractor as well. The system walks you through the entire process step by step, and in the event you need assistance, their Customer Support is right there to assist you. Email responses never take long, and to call them, you would expect to be on hold, but I never have to wait for a representative to help me with my questions. Great Customer Service!!

The system lacks a variety of reports I'd like to see.

The prices is reasonable and worth the purchase

GCPAY Simplifies the Pay Application Process

What do you like best about GCPay?

I like GC Pay because the subcontractors cannot submit for anything that has not been approved by the owner and entered on to their SOV by me. Pay applications do not come in with incorrect contract amounts and there are no calculation errors. You have an up to date snapshot of exactly where each subcontractor stands in their billing. GC Pay is also very easy for new subcontractors to start using. Most have no difficulties at all understanding the process. The customer support at GC Pay is the fastest customer support that I have every dealt with. They usually respond within minutes of my request

What do you dislike about GCPay?

The only thing that I would find very helpful would be the ability of the subcontractors to have a subcontractor under them able to be put into GC Pay. Other than that issue that I have run into, there is nothing else that I dislike.

What problems is GCPay solving and how is that benefiting you?

We no longer receive pay applications with calculation errors. We do not receive pay applications with unapproved change orders. The subcontractors and automatically reminded by email when their pay applications are due. If a subcontractor submits their pay application after the deadline the system automatically dates it for the next month end.

What appeared at first to be a daunting task

What do you like best about GCPay?

I was notified that I had to upload a document which is critical to a project we will be starting. I had no idea where I needed to upload or anything, but it email I received clearly laid out who I should contact with questions. Within 30 minutes I had the answers I needed and was all set!

What do you dislike about GCPay?

I didn't have any issues using this that would cause me to dislike it.

What do you like best about GCPay?

.I like the organization of Sub AFP's and SOV, I like payment exchange waivers, I like the way you can track compliance items, I love the audit trail, it has been the easiest billing software I have ever used (better than Procore, Textura, ProjectMates)

What do you dislike about GCPay?

I would like it if we as the GC has more access to functions that GCPay support has such as rejecting invocies after they have been approved or being able to see subcontractors screens to help them with submissions if they need it

What problems is GCPay solving and how is that benefiting you?

I like that they have ended the chase for lien waivers with the payment exchange waiver function, the only down side is if you make a partial manual payment say as a direct pay to their sub-tier vendor, then the sub has to manually unlock the waiver which can be annoying

Easy to navigate and help at your fingertips!

What do you like best about GCPay?

I love the live Chat and knowing that there is a real person on the other end who can help me and explain things when needed. There has been multiple times that I have had to use the chat and I have been helped everytime. I use GC Pay every single day. I love how easy it is to use. I love that there is now integration which makes it even more user friendly. Uploading compliance is so easy for us and our subs.

What do you dislike about GCPay?

I am newer to using GC Pay but so far I honestly dont have any complaints. It is very user friendly, in my opinion.

What problems is GCPay solving and how is that benefiting you?

When I have had any issues with not getting email notifications or getting emails that I shouldnt be, the live chat person was there to help me and correct things for me.

GCPay has been a huge time saver.

What do you like best about GCPay?

The best thing about GCPay has been that subcontractors can no longer bill for unapproved change orders and can not submit billings without the proper back up included. It has been a great time saver and eliminates data entry errors.

What do you dislike about GCPay?

GCPay's support is the best, they are easily reached and resolve issues quickly.

Recommendations to others considering GCPay?

The only downside is not being able to sort subcontractor's pay applications by CSI code.

What problems is GCPay solving and how is that benefiting you?

Keep subcontractor billings accurate to contract and requires appropriate backup be submitted for billings to be accepted into the system. Saves time chasing back up and marking up billings for unapproved CO billings.

Honestly, nothing comes to mind! This is a great tool for Contractors.
