What I like best about FortiSIEM is its single, unified visibility across the entire IT environment. It combines real-time monitoring, log management, and analytics for networks, servers, applications, and security devices in one platform. This eliminates tool sprawl and makes root-cause analysis much faster because performance and security issues can be correlated in the same dashboard, not investigated separately.

What I dislike about FortiSIEM is that its initial setup and fine-tuning can be complex and time-consuming. To get accurate alerts and meaningful dashboards, it often requires deep knowledge of the environment and significant customization, which can be challenging for smaller teams or organizations without dedicated SIEM expertise.

FortiSIEM solves the problem of fragmented visibility and slow incident detection by centralizing logs, metrics, and events from across the entire IT and security infrastructure into a single platform. This benefits me by enabling faster correlation of performance and security issues, reducing mean time to detect and respond to incidents, and providing clearer insights into root causes without switching between multiple tools.

I love fortiSiem. Their have no function which i dislike.

Provide a detailed information for a client assessment. This information help me to understand what's going on the client asset.

- It has many documentation to know how install and implement fortisiem.

FortiSIEM has helped us in protecting our endusers from indentity based attacks without administrator intervention all the time. The ML technology used in product has so strong that even a small request to access official data from unrecognised device / place or anything suddenly being blocked by FortiSIEM.

There is nothing negative to mention about this product except the commercials as the product is bit costly fof SMB organisations

The FortiSIEM application is used by security team to fetch the logs from integrated devices and also to identify any unknown login attempts to any of the integrated devices where it is helpful to prevent any malware attacks.

The application sometimes goes in hung state while generating the reports. The server console takes more time to refresh.

The application is helpful for Security team to identify the threats with inbuilt use cases for automated creation of cases. The tool helps to reduce the manual work and gives accurate details about thecentralized devices. This tool can also be used for multiple support projects by any organization.

Machine learning based detection will be a strong capability for FortiSIEM added to its detection of advanced threats globally, it offers variety of inbuilt Use cases along with SOAR platform for automatic remediation of Suspected threats. one of its greatest advantage is that the one click upgrade of its platform and its tree platforms, Also, the centralized management of devices integrated with FortiSIEM can be an added advantage which can help us reducing the manpower involvement, The customized reports and dashboards can help us more understanding the Exceptional cases

Despite of its product capabilities and functionalities, The Support provided from the OEM can be improvised, Since we noticed a significant delay in Providing resolution for the reported issues, and the WEB UI provided is more of legacy platform which can be improvised for modern architecture. Also, the vulnerabilities reported can made us think wisely for choosing the Forti Product
