Foodsuites interface is easy to use and helps my business flourish

There are not many features I am disappointed with, everything runs smooth as needed

The business problems I solve involve saving time and resources by using the various features available through Foodservice Suite.

The things I like about Foodservice Suite (FSS) are that it can be used in any restaurant, College Food Service, or Hospital Foodservice and give you recipe and nutrition information. You can use it to do inventory and pricing of products for sale.

Things that they can improve are getting the product to integrate with Point of Sale Systems easier.

We have standardized recipes and the ability to marry the recipes.

I use the census report feature and en joy the fact that I am able to print out lists of patients by floor and that include diet and supplements.

I dislike the somewhat disorganized method of adding food preferences to the patient's tray ticket. While there seems to be multiple ways to enter in notes, the process seems like it can be more user-friendly.

Foodservice Suite is a good program to use but may not be the most user friendly.

I liked that we could customize our inventory with recipes and customize the names and product numbers.

Not a whole lot. I very much enjoy the design and ease of use of Foodservice Suite.

No current problems, I am no longer with the company that used FSS, but I was an administrator when I was. I think that our current institution would benefit from FSS if it does not already use the service.

Canned reporting is extensive, and the ability to export data for customized reporting is relatively straightforward and brings more excellent value as upper management always seems to need more analytics. I like the number of settings to customize functionality truly. I like the ability to custom build my allergens list to meet the needs of an international population that has allergens beyond the US top 8/9. Another area for props is that CBORD listens to customers and updates software to meet requirements.

CBORD, in more recent years has added more functionality to upload information; however, it is still a need to adapt the software to reduce how much data entry is needed to keep the system functional.

FSS functionality for data tagging for allergens enabled us to reduce food allergen incidents nearly to zero.

If you are lucky enough to work for a corporation that can make the initial investment to purchase all the modules offered (FSS, NSS, RCS, Tray Monitor) you will avoid many headaches d/t workarounds.

If purchasing individual modules, you will struggle to create a smooth workflow and will need to do multiple checks to prevent errors.

This system interfaces with ADT and EHR seamlessly and it helped to remove the "paper shuffling". Provides updated reports easily.

Food Service Suite has many features that you can chose ala carte which is nice for because there are a lot of platforms that we do not need due to using other programs. We use Food Service Suite for our healthcare room service ordering program.

The tray monitor function is helpful, and probably my favorite function of the program. It allows us to monitor where a patient's tray is in the process whether being cooked, waiting for delivery, out for delivery, or delivered. This has been very helpful because in the past, trays would get "lost" and we did not know a patient had not eaten until much later. This function has almost eliminated that problem.

The layout is very user friendly and easy to navigate and use.

The design is very old and is not aesthetically pleasing and very uncustomizable.

This software is veru useful for organizing, compiling, and categorizing patients and they're diet orders and requests.

Foodservice suite makes it easy for employees to place orders with the company’s vendors as well as submit invoices for received product.

There is one downside of using foodservice suite. Late at night when trying to place an order or submit invoices, the software can be quite slow.

We are better able to keep track of our inventory as well as our department budgets.

The quality of the interaction among the staff working there. There are many ways to get what you want done

It is a little antiquated in some respects and enhancements take a while and a lot of support

Money saving in food service by automating the production and inventory aspects of the operation
