ESET Secure Authentication Reviews

I like the wide variety of security it provides and its robustness. The setup is simple, and you don't need to involve many complex steps to install this. And last but not least, the speed at which ESET opens is quite impressive.

There's not much to dislike about this software, but sometimes the push notifications get delayed for some reason. Also, they could work around the price. Compared to similar software in the market, this one's a bit expensive.

Before using ESET, I used LogMeOnce, but speed was a big issue. Also, 2-factor authentication is a big add-on in ESET.

High availability and wide data base are most like.

Comparetively a bit costly than others but it’s worth full.

Protection from all kind of malwares and cyber attacks are the best.

A system without multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a dead system today. Everyone needs an MFA and ESET is a company that delivers it. It offers a choice between on-premise and cloud solutions and integrates with other systems without causing significant disruptions.

If the implementation is successful, then everything is fine, but if you get stuck somewhere and need to involve the support team, this is where the real nightmare begins.

I definitely prefer receiving a push-notification to receiving an email to confirm something like my email address. It's convenient and makes more sense to me.

I don't like that it's sometimes hard to actually access the app from the push notification.

Ask your IT crew to set up your login for you. It can be a little challenging to set it up on your own; however, it's not too difficult to download the app and get started. I would recommend this to anyone who consistently has to authenticate your email or your access to certain websites (i.e., internal intra-net sites, hubs, workplace groups, etc). I definitely feel more safe using this functionality, and it makes me feel ready to go and authenticate my logins from any place. This makes working from home more reliable, and I think everyone who has this business need should look into this app. It also feels safer than something connected through your email, because it does require you to use your personal phone, which does feel like an extra step in the security process.

I feel more ready to authenticate my sign-ins on the go when using this app.

Two Factor Authentication (2FA) to Microsoft Active Directory domains or local area network,

This product does what it’s supposed to and it is very secure. It’s easy for people to access, but it’s also very firm.

It is hard to bypass at times and it does not work well with many programs on the computer.

Keeping products secure as we work with banking information.

It does work most of the time, so it's not just a non-functioning product.

The ESET secure authenticator service will just randomly stop working when I was using it. It may have been patched by now but I remember when I used it, literally everytime after a reboot, I'd have to connect to the computers services add-in from another computer and start the service or the users couldn't login. Talk about a major pain.

Prepare for a multitude of issues. There are much better products on the market than this one. We only used this because we were already using ESET's other products. That's a big mistake. Not all products are mad equal.

We are no longer using ESET Secure authentication after the experiences I had with the product. It seems to be lacklaster in most fashions and we saw no reason not to use a more developed product.
