Eggplant is an application testing solution that assists enterprises in the aerospace, healthcare, retail, and telecommunications industries in developing test scripts, identifying user experience difficulties, tracking downtimes, and analyzing findings. It allows data analysts to create and simulate user journey test scripts in order to track overall application performance. To segment virtual users and measure user experience based on consumer geographies, Eggplant Performance allows testers to place injectors in multiple geographical regions. Employees can cancel tests, add extra virtual users, halt individual users, set up pause factors, and monitor running tests using the test controller toolbar. Supervisors can also collect detailed diagnostic data to connect facts, compare test runs, obtain application error statistics, and analyze response times. Eggplant Performance includes an application programming interface (API) that enables enterprises to link the system with a variety of third-party solutions, such as DynaTrace and JMeter.
