difficult to understand the best sequence for cdm, I did not find any tips on q/a or knowledge base. yes it is not a problem of the product, but it is an environment what I am finding more and more

I would warmly suggest to enhance from free to pro, and at the same same time I understand that the economical effort might be too much for a one-man-job

for small projects i use the free version, for huge ones I prefer the pro.

It is so comfortable to start an project locally with xampp servers and install later on the the preferred server by using an archive.zip and installer.php.

Saving time and a very easy way to move websites from one hosting provider to another. It is also a great tool for moving a website from one domain to another (domain change).

It packages up both Wordpress and the site files.

Once you know how to use it, it is great. But the first couple times, it requires step by step instructions. However, if you follow them, all should go well. Occasionally I have to manually unzip the package using File Manager but I suspect it is a hosting server issue and not a break with the plugin.

Worth a try. Follow the steps and the process is seamless!

I manage a website for a non-profit, and have to make regular updates to the site, as well as save copies in case of host/server issue. Duplicator Pro has been my go-to resource for the last 15 months, and I'm quite happy to renew it each year because I know it will save me both time and effort should I be faced with issues where I need to restore/deploy a site quickly.

I obviously like that I can save a website or parts of a website, depending on configuration within just a few moments. This software also makes it easy to download everything I need to take with me, and to present the whole job to the people I work with in an easy-to-understand format that I can show as well as teach others to use for themselves in their own deploys.

Speed, simplicity, configurability no need for a preexisting WP installation. Just drop the installer and archive files to your server, input database information, click 'install' and your site's been moved. It's that simple.

Nothing, really. If I had to choose, some options could be described better, like the warning about open_basedir in PHP, but that's just being picky. Maybe the input with directories to exclude could use some form of auto-completion.

Test the free version, then just buy the Pro. All the advice you need.
