What do you like best about DupeCatcher?

I like the ability to set it and forget that it is there!

What do you dislike about DupeCatcher?

I don't like the fact that when we do need duplicates to exist for whatever reason that we have to disable the entire service.

Recommendations to others considering DupeCatcher?

Make sure you think about how your users are entering data into your system before you set this up, so you don't accidentally block new entries into your system you may need.

What problems is DupeCatcher solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had duplicate entries for Opportunities and Accounts in our Salesforce org. This software has helped us to maintain clean data in our customer database.

What I like best is user friendliness of the system.

What is least helpful is the interface of the system seems little old school. I would love to see the system updated a little more for today’s times.

What problems is DupeCatcher solving and how is that benefiting you?

What we are using this system for is part of our company wide expansion. We use data from the system to make decisions in multiple departments.

Helps with catching Duplicate Accounts and Contacts in Salesforce

Helps to catch duplicates without going to the original record to verify details, gives an error message and a way to "ignore'

What do you like best about DupeCatcher?

The pop-up that immediately halts a user from creating a duplicate inside Salesforce. It's easy to implement and works wonders.

What do you dislike about DupeCatcher?

I wish there were more features with this, even ones I'd pay for such as mass deletion, and legacy duplication clean-up.

Recommendations to others considering DupeCatcher?

With any data-sets, you'll always have the risk of adding duplicates to your records, which is agonising when analysing your database. DupeCatcher stops it right at the source, making sure you get the cleanest data available.

What problems is DupeCatcher solving and how is that benefiting you?

This handy little tool has saved us on many occasions from dirtying the data with duplicate values. Without realising, some Sales staff may enter in an email they've already seen before, without knowing it's a duplicate. With DupeCatcher, we can prevent this from happening at the source, which is invaluable when pulling reports.

Best Bang for your Buck

What do you like best about DupeCatcher?

Simple, with all the features you need to prevent data duplication in SFDC. The ability to customize the error message when people enter a duplicate record provided a good user experience.

What do you dislike about DupeCatcher?

There is no override functionality that you can assign to specific people or profiles. In sales driven roles it can be frustrating to slow down the process of data creation.

Recommendations to others considering DupeCatcher?

Look into getting a paid duplication clean up solution along with DupeCatcher such as Duplicate Check for salesforce or Cloudingo.

What problems is DupeCatcher solving and how is that benefiting you?

Duplication prevention of lead creation. Our sales team has benefited hugely from having more streamlined leads, they no longer have to sort through duplicate records to find the right lead or contact.

Great Dupe Blocking Tool for SFDC

What do you like best about DupeCatcher?

It has settings that allow you to ignore and enter a dupe if you need to, it has the ability to block all dupes or a combination by roles/rules.

What do you dislike about DupeCatcher?

Better fuzzy matching capabilities would be good but over all a good tool. Not too much else to say other than it may be slow at times.

Great tool to use to block dupes.

What problems is DupeCatcher solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have blocked thousands of potential duplicate records by using this tool.

This app is a great addition to our Salesforce instance. Being able to create my own filters and review potential duplicates has helped keep my data clean.

Dupecatcher one of the finest tools

What do you like best about DupeCatcher?

It helps in preventing duplication of records which aids me from revisiting my records again and save time.

What do you dislike about DupeCatcher?

For some of the work that I do, its not applicable since it only verifies information for certain items not all.

Recommendations to others considering DupeCatcher?

Be sure that it applies to the tools you are working with since it doesnt necessarily apply to all.

What problems is DupeCatcher solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has aided in solving multiple records in our accounts where I haven't had to go back in the records to verify details. In a lot of cases it has merged some same entries. I have found it time efficient and easy to use.

What do you like best about DupeCatcher?

This is a great product to have on force.com. We used it specifically to clean up the system. Keeping our system clean of useless data was substantial in our company's org.

What do you dislike about DupeCatcher?

There were minor nuisances when using the application but nothing major. The only major issue is the fact Salesforce has a native app for duplicate management.

Recommendations to others considering DupeCatcher?

I would use DupeCatcher to setup cleaning efforts for companies who want a quick solution.

What problems is DupeCatcher solving and how is that benefiting you?

DupeCatcher removed duplicate contacts and accounts we had in the system. By setting up rules, we were also able to hand this off to a business operations admin. Great 3rd party App on force.
