This effective content management tool helps to export/backup/archive contents from SharePoint.The main advantage that i like is that it saves database space,archive older content from our SharePoint to reduce storage space in SQL database, So this tool is very useful in storage optimization purposes. And the best thing is that we can delete the content or mark it as read only. Provides a great help in document management.

There's not much that i dislike about Dockit Archiver. But to my opinion, the free trail has limited functionalities.

Highly recommend. Best way to archive older contents by optimizing storage in the best case scenario.

I use Dockit Archiver to get backups and export from SharePoint. So i was able to maintain a version history of SharePoint. Use in managing documents in the workplace.

Dockit Archiver metadata values stored in standard XML format to our file system. It Archive old content to improve backup and disaster recovery performance metrics and Export all the archived contents in a readable format. This has amazing features, backup and disaster recovery, avoid SQL server storage costs. and etc.

No support for the mobile device and free edition time period is low, that's the only thing I dislike.

Recommend for everyone to export/archive your contents.

it support to export, backup and archive things from share point. also it contain some amazing features with self such as Document Management, Export, Data Import and etc..

some time this application consume more system resources if it is not enough it gets stuck.

it help us to check the logs on the archived content also it keeps version history sometimes it makes our life too easy.

The price of the tool quite expensive compare to other SharePoint Archiving Tools. Also there is a free trial version with few features and functionalities,So We cannot decide to purchase this tool looking at the experience with free version.

I am not satisfied with their customer service.But I think you should try this tool at least once.

In our company we mainly used it for SharePoint Archive and backup. It comes with fully self-contained and restorable archive across all SharePoint versions and across all product versions.It search and filter our archive content and narrow down to the file or folder easily.

The ability to move things from Sharepoint and OneDrive to a larger network location is helpful.

Cost is a downside for the benefit it gives; we were able to eliminate the cost and manually move files ourselves with a bit more time.

Initially we thought it would simplify things, but it didn't actually solve any issues for us; it just added another layer of work.
