- Feature-completeness from day one — drag-and-drop, recurring events, multiple views, custom event rendering. All the things we'd otherwise have spent months building ourselves.

- Genuine customisability. We've been able to skin it, extend event templates, and integrate it tightly with our PHP/JS stack without fighting the framework.

- Performance with real-world data volumes. Consultants have busy diaries and the calendar stays responsive.

- Well-organised documentation and a responsive support team when we have hit edge cases.

MCP server works very well, and the UI is fantastic to work with.

The UI polish could be slightly better. Otherwise, it’s a great, power-user-friendly app.

Ability to visualise long drawn project and tasks in better way

For our use case, we we're looking specifically at the Spreadsheet widget. But we can see how we could apply many of the other DHTMLX widgets on our software.

During the trial phrase, when we did a feasibility study on the use of the DHTMLX Spreadsheet, the team over there responded to all our queries. Both technical and from a sales perspective they were very helpful.

We are very satisfied with the product. It is incredibly developer-friendly and the documentation is clear and well-structured. The Gantt component works exactly as expected and integrates smoothly into our application. It helped us deliver planning features to our users faster and with great quality. The flexibility and customization options are a big plus.

So far, we haven't experienced major issues. However, having more examples for complex use cases (like multi-project views or custom critical path rendering) would be helpful to speed up development even more.

The documentation is clear, thorough, and includes practical examples. The support team is responsive and helpful, especially for users with a commercial license.

Nothing, the product is perfect since many years

Very flexible, good UX thought and capabilities, we could find alternative solutions using DHTMLX components for flexible implementation in our products. After checking lots of solutions, it seems to be one of the best choices we could find - combining flexibility and functionality. The support of DHTMLX teams is very fast.

There are still some mismatches in right-to-left support, but mostly it does not affect us, and we can overcome it.

We could easily implement Gantt features, including Kanban and calendar presentations. The components allowed us to implement a very complicated solution for customer experience and usability in our systems.

The DHTMLX Gantt component has all the features to be competitive with Microsoft Project! When we searched for a component to include in our SAAS product we concluded that this Gantt chart was the very best component available. It has the most features, the most flexible with best set of APIs so we could configure it for our specific requirements.

The documentation is excellent! We have never contacted support to explain any of the APIs or functions. We have contacted support a few times when we have specific behaviors we want beyond the API’s and within hours we have received snippets and instructions on how to accomplish our goals every time. There was nothing that couldn’t be done.

It is incredible the ease of use, flexibility, and wide range of features of its components, being able to generate complex and attractive web applications in a very short time, in addition to being highly customizable, editable, and compatible with all modern browsers.

So far, I have had nothing to reproach about the DHMLTX UI.
