I like that Definitive Healthcare provides specific details on measures around restraints and seclusions, along with any reported infractions. It helps identify if a hospital is having issues with restraints, seclusions, or ED boarding at the ER with psych patients. The initial setup was very easy for me due to the simple login and user ramp up process.

I wish Definitive Healthcare included non-hospital providers. Also, the tracking of territory and saved searches could be more user-friendly.

I use Definitive Healthcare for sales targeting and client research. It helps identify core issues hospitals may have, particularly around behavioral health, restraints, and seclusions.

a one stop shop for all the background insights and statistics on an organization. anything from financials statements, list of executives to size and affliations. i dont believe you could find this information just by googling, and if you could, it would take 10x the amount of time. the infromation is displayed in an easy to understand format. all the information stays up to date.

the only downside is i wish there was even more information. The same information can not always be pulled for every organization so sometimes there are small gaps however i dont believe that is directly Definitives fault.

most of this information you can not find just by searching the internet unless a one off article was written about them or they happen to publicly display their stats, which is rare.Definitive pulls from linkedin in some cases which verifys the accuracy and has a time stamp. we use this information to better understand our customers and how they operate. its very useful and we would otherwise not know any of this unless we asked the right person and they were willing to share, which again is rare.

Definitive has good, well organized information.

There is a distinct lack of detail when it comes to phone numbers etc.

Definitive helps me find the right people to contact at hospitals to set calls and have sales conversations.

easy to download and export information into excel. You can use a hospital search filter which can narrow down results, or if you have a hospital in mind you can download years worth of data.The data all comes from the medicare cost reports which makes them reliable data and very useful.

There is nothing I dislike, you can save your searches

You can compare any organization all at once. Downloading the CMS cost reports is very hard and you need to combine using sSQL and need to do it for each year. However Definitive combines all this information for you into one digestible format.
