What do you like best about DealerBuilt?
Easy to keep track of the dealership's customer base - whether service or sales. There is more to it than what our dealership uses it for, but provides loads of opportunity.
What do you dislike about DealerBuilt?
The system interface is a little archaic, but it serves its purpose. It doesn't have to be flashy to be effective. It isn't the most intuitive system on the market, but the price helps the appeal.
What problems is DealerBuilt solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management in the sales department use Dealer Built to finalize deals for finance and finishes up in accounting. Service uses it from start to finish with the exception of the schedule function.

Great DMS
What do you like best about DealerBuilt?
Easy to use and easy to train to new staff. Support staff is AWESOME!

Sometimes it runs slow but over all no complaints!

We use DealerBuilt A-Z. Point of sale through to accounting. Everything in one location.

What do you like best about DealerBuilt?
IT IS FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE AND TAILORED SPECIFICALLY FOR EACH DEALERSHIPS INDIVIDUAL NEEDS. LOTS OF EXTRAS THAT CUT THE WORK IN HALF. EXPANSIVE SEARCH CAPABILITIES. FOR A BEGINNER IT'S PRETTY EASY TO LEARN AND FOLLOW. GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT!
What do you dislike about DealerBuilt?
THERE AREN'T REALLY ANY HELP GUIDES UNLESS YOU SPECIFICALLY MENTION IT THEN THEY WILL SEND YOU A LINK VIA EMAIL. THE ADMINISTRATOR CAPABILITY COULD BE A LITTLE EASIER TO NAVIGATE AND UNDERSTAND AS FAR AS ACCESS POINTS, GROUPS, ETC.
What problems is DealerBuilt solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOLVING A FEW ACCOUNTING ISSUES THAT ARE MINOR. WHEN CALLING INTO CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY REMOTE IN WITH YOU SO YOU ARE ABLE TO WATCH EVERYTHING THEY DO AND THEY WALK YOU THROUGH WHATEVER THE ISSUE IS YOU MAY BE HAVING AT THE MOMENT.

You get what you pay for
What do you like best about DealerBuilt?
Very easy to navigate between screens and is intuitive to use for anyone that has used windows
What do you dislike about DealerBuilt?
It took much longer than anticipated to import data from previous DMS. Freezes often. Implementation team was knowledgeable but did not spend nearly enough time getting us going. It's very buggy. Annoying that it does not automatically save when you go to exit a screen but rather you are always having to save.
Recommendations to others considering DealerBuilt?
Make sure you get all your team to be involved with implementation. Try and get your data backed up before making the switch, especially if using Reynolds. Don't tell them you're switching or it might be difficult to do this.
What problems is DealerBuilt solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automotive DMS system that is less expensive than Reynolds and Reynolds or ADP.

What do you like best about DealerBuilt?
I like how light year separates my account finances from the other employees finances automatically. When we were using Dealer track we would have to separate our numbers everyday manually.
What do you dislike about DealerBuilt?
I do not like how you have to press so many different buttons to complete a task. Windows are also constantly popping everytime I click on a new section then I have to close them all out. The system also runs a bit slow.
