I think that what I like the most about DataForma is that it allows to create and manage construction projects in an easy and fast way, besides controlling budgets and project resources.

DataForma is quite expensive compared to other project management tools such as Microsoft Project, if they would adjust their licensing and service prices it could be a little more accessible for medium sized companies and could even reach other markets.

has allowed the management of projects from 1 to 5 at the same time, but has no limits according to the license that is acquired, through its graphical interface you can validate the progress of each project validate the tasks and resources and budgets and resources allocated to each project, which facilitates the management, administration and cost savings.

Quick & consistent, accessible across all platforms (for the most part)

Can't look up documents from my phone, just pics.

Doesn't integrate with other solutions we use like Follow-Up Power, Quickbooks (it does, but only in limited transaction capacity), Windows explorer (why not a windows explorer tree for project docs?)

Plan to spend the time with Dave Caves to learn what you're doing. It was confusing as hell until I spent time with him in training.

What's not to like? Easily tracks leads, sold projects, stores documents for each project and creates reports. It has so many more capabilities than what we are using it for, and I can't wait to get into using it more!!

My only dislike currently is that it can become a burden to keep updated. We are way behind at keeping our Dataforma records updated due to the fact that we'd have to double enter mostly everything with our accounting system and we are so busy we can't even find the time to enter leads... so nothing wrong with the product per se, we just need to use it better!

I definitely recommend having one person assigned to be your "Super User," as DF calls it. This person will make sure everyone is on the same page with how they are supposed to be using it, as well as making sure the information stays updated.

There are huge benefits in using Dataforma for project management. I just wish that we could start using it better for field service as well as keeping our records updated.

Dataforma gives every team member the information they need, when and where they need it. From the mobile app to the detailed building history, it provides us a clear picture of our customers and their needs.

Can be cumbersome for new users. New updates seem to fall behind schedule. Would like customers to have the ability to report service calls through the mobile app.

Be patient, but consistent. It takes a long time to bring everyone on board.

Scheduling our repairs and maintenance work orders and assigning them to technicians has never been easier. Dataforma cuts down on the endless phone calls and gets the information out of people's heads and into a format we can use.

Tracking leads are easy as 1...2...3! It allows the entire office to track leads from the initial call to the sale.

Client portals would be extremely helpful, unfortunately, it comes at an extra cost and is not highly customizable.

If you are looking for a client platform that they can easily access, Dataforma has that feature available. Unfortunately, it comes at quite a high cost.

Our office is able to run smoothly and staff saves a lot of time by uploading their documents directly into Dataforma. It allows the entire staff to easily pull up information about every lead and track its status from the initial call all the way to the sale.

Ability to write out contracts with templates that can be downloaded into Word to personalize contract.

Everything Else. It takes an average 6 clicks just to see the information that you want. Plus the added frustrations of the App not being able to upload PDFs and needing a different app to illustrate on pictures before uploading on the regular app. Make a mistake and need to delete, well to bad because administration is the only one that can delete. Need to look at all the photos? Get ready to download them or look at them one at a time....you can also do the slide show but forget about zooming in/out on the photo besides the fact that this will only open to about 1/4 of your screen. Want to organize the photos? Good luck cuz they need to be in numerical order, so that is lots of fun! (Hope you can sense the sarcasm.)

The phone app also does not sync up with the project so if you call/text/email your client you have to do double entry into Dataforma instead of it automatically logging in the event.

The program does not sync up with Google Mail, Contacts nor Events so if you utilize Google then double entry again.
