A Game-Changer for Our Small Business

Switching to Clearent has been one of the best business decisions we've made this year. As a small business, we were constantly dealing with confusing fees and inconsistent service from our previous provider. Clearent completely flipped that experience. Their onboarding process was smooth, and their team took the time to actually understand our needs—not just sell us a service.

What impressed me most was how intuitive their platform is. I can log in and instantly see clear, real-time data about our transactions without having to dig. Payments hit our account quickly, and we’ve had zero issues with reliability.

Also, shoutout to their support team—every question I’ve had has been answered by a real person who knows what they’re talking about. That level of support is rare these days.

If you’re tired of being treated like just another account number, Clearent is worth a serious look. They're efficient, honest, and genuinely care about helping your business succeed.

Grateful for my partnership with Clearent by Xplor

I've been working with Clearent by Xplor as my integrated payments partner for my Patient Engagement system, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. As the owner of a software company that provides comprehensive patient engagement solutions to medical offices, I need a payment processor that is not only efficient but also genuinely supportive. Clearent has consistently delivered with their competitive processing rates, an honest consultative strategy that has guided my business decisions, and reliable support that ensures my operations run smoothly. Their proactive approach and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in enhancing my service offering, and I wholeheartedly recommend Clearent by Xplor to anyone looking to elevate their payment processing experience.

Great Partner!

Choosing the right POS system for my restaurant felt overwhelming, but Clearent made the process simple. My local rep really listened to what I needed and helped me find the perfect system to make the day-to-day tasks of running my restaurant so much easier. It’s been a game changer for how we run things!

"Easy company to work with."

What do you like best about Clearent Payment Processing?

I like that they are easy to work with. I also like that they integrate with Field Edge which makes things run smoother with the techs in the field. I also like that the batch reports are easy to determine who made the charges for the day.

What do you dislike about Clearent Payment Processing?

I don't like how I have 2 different accounts that batch out. It makes it much harder to tie out at the end of the day.

What problems is Clearent Payment Processing solving and how is that benefiting you?

I like how it integrates with the office computer and I don't have to use another website to enter transactions.

"Support Beyond Expectations "

What do you like best about Clearent Payment Processing?

I love how they work with my clients, how they are so willing to help explain billing, or any other question my clients may have. The all in one portal is huge & they were 1 of the 1st to have. Continuously improving clients experience

What do you dislike about Clearent Payment Processing?

I’m not keen on the surcharging for NDF many competitors offer this without a cost to me or my clients. It’s just Standard

Recommendations to others considering Clearent Payment Processing:

Whether you use a reseller like me or someone else, the company is only as good as the individuals that represent it. Interview your sales rep, ask the hard questions, if you are signing with someone as an agent, would you let this person be a Financial Partner in your business? If not then find someone you can trust clearpaymidsouth.com

What problems is Clearent Payment Processing solving and how is that benefiting you?

I’m able to meet most of my clients needs with their platform, from equipment to integrations their team is amazing in troubleshooting situations

Overall it's been a good experience

Overall it's been a good experience. Much better than my previous processor. My guess is it depends on your rep. Mine has been great, if I call her, she answers her phone and helps me with my questions or support. Also helps with my PCI compliance.

Disrespectful and rude to loyal business for 6 years

After adding on a payment feature with Clearent by Xplor Pay for my small business in 2019 through an online scheduling system that we had previously trusted for 3 years, this year in 2025, we experienced our first chargeback request in 10 years of business for $1,500 that was handled extremely poorly by their staff. We had already given them $3,833 in merchant fees at that point for 6 solid years, and the communication to our team about the case was rude, disrespectful, and cold. Their handling of the situation implied that we were 100% at fault without any information from us to factor into their communication, such as considering the legal contract this horrible client had broken who was attempting to steal from our practice. They failed to provide email communication with a follow-up request that came with a deadline and initially denied that they had sent an email at all about the chargeback request on June 24th, 2025. We immediately terminated business with Clearent by Xplor Pay and resumed full business interactions with Square for our merchant services, a decision we are still very happy with as they are far more ethical, respectful, and trustworthy.

I was forced into using Clearent…

I was forced into using Clearent because it was embedded into a scheduling app. This was years ago, the experience was a nightmare. I've changed apps because of this experience and now they've started spamming me with emails YEARS later, and despite sending the unsubscribe request, won't stop.
