I like the web nased user interface which provides us managed security. User friendly web based management provides us clean and clear representation

Firmware update should be periodic and thats the only suggestion.

Check Point Security Management Portal is allow us to manage multiple security gateways on single screen.

It will allow us to create some common Groups for URLs, Domain, IPs, Object etc. for all gateways. Also allow us to create common policies as well. We can create single policy and copy paste on other gateway.

We can create Site 2 Site Tunnel between two gateways which managed single Management Portal.

Current version R80.40 having no such issue. Its working smoothly.

They should improve the technical support service since it is not one of the best features.

The easiness to use and centralized management are key components of this platform. Being able to manage multiple firewalls and having a user-friendly interface for policies/NAT configuration add great value to the operation.

The lack of cli options for security configurations. Even though the platform is great and the use is simple, some tasks demand configuration in a bulk and for that extended cli support would be welcomed.

A big challenge to any organization is having multiple points of management for security platforms. Security Management platform solve that by bringing everything into one single management point.
