The big reason why I like Chartio is the ability to create charts easily and more quickly myself.

I haven't faced any issues using Chartio. The dashboards have helped me to become more successful.

Efficiently analyze information and make decisions.

Sharing of data which in turn provides visibility to our work and drives accountability.

"Great tool to help visualize data"

What do you like best about Chartio?

Chartio is a great tool for analysts to visualize data. The ability to filter, share, and manipulate data within Chartio is fantastic. Great UI, and easy to learn. I've used several BI tools in the past and Chartio is one of the best.

What do you dislike about Chartio?

Chartio can be slow sometimes and access can be finicky. Chartio is link sensitive, where as enabling access to all should give everyone within the org access. This doesn't always work, they often need a specific link to access reports or dashboards. Additionally, there is no way to share dashboards or reports with external clients.

Recommendations to others considering Chartio:

Test a few tools out, Chartio is a great tool for what we need. We've used several other BI tools and have found Chartio does work, but do not think it is a 1 size fits all application.

What problems is Chartio solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have large sets of data and need a tool to help visualize it to make decisions. We're able to use the data warehousing tool to analyze it and excel and provide some support, however Chartio give real time updates and customization all over the cloud.

"Such an awesome BI Tools with an amazing UI that provides great user experience."

What do you like best about Chartio?

Such an awesome BI Tool, great drag and drop features, where you do not even have to write complex queries to make BI Dashboards from multiple data sources.

What do you dislike about Chartio?

Nothing I can that find that I dislike. Just a shame, they will be stopping their service next year March.

What problems is Chartio solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were able to make dashboards and get our hands on interesting data trends based on all of the different data sources we have internally.

We use it for data visualization

PROS: The biggest plus point is the app’s ease of use. If you know SQL, you can learn to use Chartio in just a few minutes.

CONS: The biggest minus point is query timeouts. I wish it was possible to run large analytics jobs that take more than half an hour.

Provides fast insights

PROS: You can easily structure data and get the correct KPIs. Plus, the app provides info required to make structured micro business decisions. You can easily set up your data sources in the system and start getting useful insights quickly.

CONS: I have no complaints. I wish had started using the app a long time ago. Hope my company continues using the tool. I also hope the vendor does not add unnecessary features to make Chartio a big corporate BI system so that they can charge more.

Indispensable tool for me

PROS: Chartio helps us make data decisions every day. The interactive mode without database is excellent and makes things very easy. Another advantage is you can sort and view data in various ways other than table.

CONS: There are a couple of glitches: Sometimes the interactive mode doesn’t transcribe in SQL in a likeable manner. Plus, it could report failure and inability to convert data in a chart in a better manner.

The system is easy to use

PROS: Chartio is easy to use. You can use SQL to create charts. If you do not know coding, you can use the drag and drop interface. Plus, you can use filters to explore deeply and check all segments of your data.

CONS: My only grouse is against redshirt resource management. If you refresh the dashboard, it simultaneously runs all the queries and even times out sometimes.

"Loving Chartio!"

What do you like best about Chartio?

Chartio is straight forward to use and easy to build insightful dashboards in minutes. The data is easy to explore and visualize unlike other dashboard software that I've used in the past which makes data connections more complicated than necessary.

What do you dislike about Chartio?

Some visuals require some tricks to build. Luckily Chartio's documentation helps bridge that gap.

Additionally, we had to upgrade to embedded Chartio to be able to share our dashboards and insights across the company. Luckily embedded Chartio is working smoothly and is much more straight forward than any other option we explored.

What problems is Chartio solving and how is that benefiting you?

Now that we have embedded Chartio, we are able to share our dashboards internally. We are able to connect to all our internal analytics data from different locations and unify it in a easy to access way with Chartio stored tables. Then building dashboards is an easy task. I love that Chartio leverages SQL which is the most powerful and direct way to query, clean, and understand our data.

Good solution for metric displays

PROS: It is great that I can easily display charts and share them with my team members. This makes it simple to discus metrics with them. I use Chartio to easily manage my team and communicate my objectives and needs to the other management executives I work with.

CONS: The learning curve is a bit steep. But once I got the hang of using the product, it was smooth sailing afterwards with no issues.
