"My review on Cardsmith"

What do you like best?

The thing that I like about Cardsmith is I can have a collaborative board that works like a whiteboard where I can paste cards/stick up notes of important things or using it as a board where I can have a brainstorming session with my colleague online. When I invite or add my team on the board, they will have access to edit the board, and they can share their idea on the board. This is a perfect way to have an idea-sharing session with your long distant colleague.

What do you dislike?

Cardsmith website tends to slow down after there are too much data and files on my board, and I need to delete the old board to make space to a new board. Other than that, they should add features for quick chat or messenger, so we can have constant communication between us while working on the board.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I recommend Cardsmith for a team that is looking for a digital whiteboard and for a low price. They can provide you with all the essential features that digital whiteboard needs.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Before using Cardsmith, my colleague and I separated at different branches having a hard time collaborating on a project because of the distant. Cardsmith lets us having a platform where we can share our ideas online and work on the same project efficiently.

"Digital whiteboard"

What do you like best?

CardSmith make me feels like working with traditional paper notes on the whiteboard, which I think makes it easy for user to use as they already have idea how its work. I like how we can create many types of notes and connect it in ways that can help us to move the ideas forward. There are so many built-in templates that you can choose from. CardSmith templates cover a wide range of needs and available in many different format such as calendars and Kanban boards.

What do you dislike?

Features that I dislike about this software is they do not offer communication tool beyond the comment on the card option that are offered by the platform, I think if CardSmith can gives the possibility of integrating with a Voice Over Internet Protocol(VoIP) system or video conferences or even simple chat service could improve their service noticeably. There is nothing more to highlight beyond that,

Recommendations to others considering the product:

This software is biggest point is to create basic storms of ideas, calendars or more advanced business models, meetings, sales, you just have to choose the right template. You can simply invite your colleague and assign them which card you want to work with them and they can start without the need to download the software. It is so much easy.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

CardSmith has helped us to be more creative and to discover that me and my team members lacking something more innovative in the ideas about the previous projects that we had before, we also realized that we were not that organized and as a result, this software improved and taught us how to be more organized and haw to improve teamwork.

"Cardsmith review"

What do you like best?

Unlike the other whiteboard software, Cardsmith has complete tools and features that make them work like a real whiteboard, and I can invite or set the board for the public so others can pitch in ideas for the project.

What do you dislike?

The user interface is so outdated and looks like it developed in the '90s. They have proper tools and features, but sadly they forgot about the interface.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Cardsmith can really help project collaboration, especially when you need to work on the same project with your remote colleague and all changes in the whiteboard work in real-time.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have a few scattered branches all over the country and collaborating a project with my colleague in other branches is super hard. We use Cardsmith as our collaborating software, not only we can share the idea on the whiteboard, we also use it for our Kanban and Scrum board.
