I enjoyed working with BP logic team. They were always ready and willing to help. And I did need a lot of help since my project was outside of their typical use case and needed custom codes or innovative solutions to enable the features that my organization required. I liked the monthly updates and webinars to keep up with the changes. It was easy to learn and use the application.
Some of the training materials were outdated and did not reflect the ongoing changes/updates. I wish they had more example codes.
We were able to move our New Product Introduction application from SharePoint to BP logic and build live indicators to track and monitor the health of our process. Very quickly, we were able to increase our TPT by more than 50% with added efficiency and more visibility to possible future delays/issues.
Easy to create responsive forms. Powerful, easy to configure built in tasks. Quickly prototype a working version of a form and process that is exactly what the users are asking for. Users can easily test prototypes and make suggestions. Changes are relatively easy so you spend more time talking to users and refining to give them what they actually want and need. Fully develop the solution and have in use, in production within a couple weeks , not months.
Documentation could be indexed better. There is usually the exact thing you need well documented somewhere. Finding it is not always easy.
In addition to back office processes like timecards, travel reimbursement, equipment inspection we have created many powerful integrations with our ERP constructed using no-low code built in tasks. Automated many common transactional tasks that previously required multiple user steps into a single Process Director online form. With user entry of just a couple fields, process director does the rest. It fetches data from other systems users previously had to look up. Then all from a single form with a few fields, we create PDF documents recording transactions (including embedded pictures, save then to the correct SharePoint directory (or create the directory as part of the process), update our ERP system, alert internal and external users with emails. It cuts one transaction's processing from 3-5 minutes down to 30 seconds.
I like how it produces and markets AI enabled low code development platform for custom digital applications. I like that the company provides automation consutling.
There is really nothing to dislike about this product it helps run, build and monitor and improve your business process.
It is a great tool and I highly recommend it
It helped me run, monitor and improve my business process. It found all of the inefficiencies in my business process. I am definitely more productive since using this tool
There's a lot to like about the system itself, which we have been able to customize in a multitude of ways to address our needs. But my favorite thing is the great people at BP Logix. They are understanding, responsive, and very happy to work with us as much as possible to ensure we are satisfied.
There are a few small things we would like the system to do that it is not capable of doing. When engineering needs to make more substantive changes, that is typically a long slow process. Recently we have had problems where development and the testing systems have not matched, and that made testing a long, painful process.
BP Logix is an excellent company with a solid product. While there are other products out there that can do more, it's hard to find one that can do as much, at the cost.
We use it to keep track of our vendor process from start to finish which includes asset management, purchase order production, and the contract process. We can keep track of workflows and keep track of everything for recording keeping and audit purposes.
Easy form design, you could use either word document with the plug-in or online editor to create your own form.
We hope the development team could add a nested array in the array system.
We use BPLogix to deal with all daily student information processes, administration service work processes including but not limited to fiscal, IT Service, BookStore, facilities work processes.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Desire to embed themselves in the business to really understands the needs.
Excellent solution design that is intuitive and sophisticated with minimal issues upon implementation based on experience
Lack of detailed tracking to a comprehensive list of what design elements are currently embedded into the system.
The triaging of critical documents for review per internal policies and SOPs. These processes have ensured compliance to our policies, have created efficiencies compared to prior system or offline processes, and cost savings due to these efficiencies.
I like the graphical interface, especially for workflows. I like to see the flow laid out. It's like Visio in that way. There are so many features, I haven't even tried them all! I They consistently update the product and offer new features. Machine Learning is one of the newer ones that I still need to wrap my brain around.
Process Director is mostly a no-code solution. However, if you do want to code, you can dig into web services and even create ascx forms - which you can manipulate till your coder's heart is content.
I like most everything. I do wish there was better documentation about how to work with some things. Timelines are first to come to mind. Not the bits and pieces that make up a timeline, but a how-to scenario from start to finish.
My advice it to definitely check it out. If you have processes that are still on paper and delivered via snail mail, Process Director will change your world. It's good stuff :)
We gather survey data from our clients, peer reviews within our company, we even have a PPE order form. And much more. The automation that Process Director allows saves us a ton of time.
Process Director allows non-developers to develop process beginning to end without needing to be able to code, yet provides developers with the tools needed to extended out of the box functionality (e.g scripting, web services. integration to external data sources, etc)
BPLogix provides a customer portal where you can submit questions on how to use the application, download new releases and view release notes and access online documentation. The customer support goes above and beyond to help solve issues. If you are needing professional services, they offer DIrect Assistance (for an additional cost).
Process Director is a perfect fit to solve niche processes in our company that fall outside of our enterprise applications
While every software application has areas that can be improved, there are no parts of Process Director that I dislike.
Create a test environment and spend the time to learn how to migrate changes. This can impact on how you develop your processes.
Automating paper forms was the original problem we were looking to solve. Over the years, Process Director has evolved into automating niche business processes that are not covered within the company's enterprise applications. Automating our processes provides us with the visibility to know where you are in the process and eliminates the phone calls and emails back and forth asking "Where are we on this?" Process Director has allowed the business to take on more processes without having to increase headcount that a paper process might require.
- Easy for a non-developer to develop a process from start to finish, yet has the tools a developer needs to develop complex scenarios.
- Scripting capability with the SDK allows the software to be extended to meet your process when the out of box functionality doesn't fit your use case.
- Great customer support that goes above and beyond to help solve issues
- Direct Assistance is available if you need one on one help to solve unique issues
- When we were evaluating BPM solutions, Process Director was the only demo that actually presented a complete solution for our use case in the RFQ where other industry identified "leaders" in BPM were not flexible enough to provide a solution.
- Process Director is a perfect fit to solve niche processes in our company that fall outside of our enterprise applications
- Very easy upgrade process.
I don't have any dislikes that I can list since I have yet to find a scenario that Process Director doesn't have a mechanism to solve.
Initially we were trying to automate manually forms. BP Logix is now the main application used to automate niche processes in our company. These include Security & Compliance, AP, AR, Accounting, Inventory, Fixed Assets and Executive level processes.

Prototypes can be swiftly tested by users, who can also offer suggestions. Making modifications is easy, giving developers more time to communicate with customers and improve the product to satisfy their demands. Instead of waiting months, the solution can be fully created and implemented in a few weeks.
We have experienced inconsistent results in our user synchronisation while using the system. These problems can include new users not showing up as anticipated users not being deleted as intended and incorrectly filled nested groups.
BP Logix is addressing my company's problems with the help of solutions like workflow customization and back-office process optimization. This has greatly increased our production and efficiency. We have been able to automate operations that formerly required hours of our time thanks to the minimal code automation tools provided by BP Logix, which has saved us both time and money.
