Great Board Management Tool to Prepare for Meetings, Easily Discuss Approvals and Vote as Needed
What do you like best about BoardEffect?
I find that creating the agenda and being able to copy agendas is much more efficient than my previous solution. It is so much easier creating meetings, uploading meeting materials and minutes are more easily updated.
What do you dislike about BoardEffect?
It has been a great board management tool and I have no cons to list since I have not come across any problems yet.
What problems is BoardEffect solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has made Board meeting preparation process smooth and it allows Board members to find resources they need, review documents, discuss approvals and vote as needed.

Centralized confidential location for materials. Efficiency has increased significantly

Some board members resist or act like its difficult (usually login info not usage)
What problems is BoardEffect solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s easy to make last-minute changes to meeting materials, and directors don’t have to guess where to find the meeting join information.

Easy, Secure Hub for Documents, Meetings, and Calendars
What do you like best about BoardEffect?
I like that it houses all of our documents, meeting information, calendar invites, etc. It is fairly easy to use and allows secure sharing of information.
What do you dislike about BoardEffect?
Some of the tasks are a bit clunky and require extra clicks.
What problems is BoardEffect solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has cut down on the number of subscription services we need. It also is a more effective board book solution that requires less staff time.

What do you like best about BoardEffect?
The ease and flexibility for building board books and the amazing customer support that is provided.
What do you dislike about BoardEffect?
We currently have 200+ workrooms that live in multiple workgroups. The ability to search for a particular association.
What problems is BoardEffect solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is responsible for also providing alignment across 250 associations. BE provides us the opportunity for through templateing ect.

What do you like best about BoardEffect?
All board material in one secure location.
What do you dislike about BoardEffect?
As a system admin, the move to Diligent One has been a little bumpy. Not enough information or training on how the move to Diligent One will impact system admins.
What problems is BoardEffect solving and how is that benefiting you?
We often have meetings where certain material should only be available to specific Board members. BoardEffect gives me the ability to designate who sees what items. It also allows me to add notes for our Board Chair and CEO that only they are able to view.

It helps keep board activities on a single platform, including surveys, polls, board books, communications, and library materials.
What do you dislike about BoardEffect?
The training materials are not easy to navigate and don't always reflect the training content in the training titles. I would appreciate a free text option to search for the closest content (assisted with AI?).
What problems is BoardEffect solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seeing real examples of best practices using the tools available at the conference was truly eye-opening and helped me understand how to apply them more effectively.
