Like many data systems, it takes some training and thoughtful use to be truly effective.

It allows our students’ academic records, attendance, conduct, and student life notes to live together in one place, while also letting us carefully and thoughtfully manage who has access to that information.

How information integrates seamlessly between platforms and how easy to use it is once you get a hang of things.

The start up process was quite difficult

The information integration feature stands out to me. It brings together data from different sources, making it easier to access and manage everything in one place. This has improved my workflow and helped me stay organized.

I like how unified and connected it is. It's more than just a place to store records; it acts as a single hub that often integrates the student data with the LMS for teachers and with billing, admissions, and fundraising for the administration. This gives faculty, staff, and even parents a 360-degree view of the student, making tasks like tracking attendance, managing grades, and communicating with families much more efficient and less scattered.

Blackbaud has also been implementing a lot of community feedback changes lately. This is a huge step in the right direction!

Customer Support is great, when it's not the live chat. The live chat assistance seems to have diminished in the past couple of years - opening a ticket instead is usually a bit faster.

It is easy to access and edit the information you need

I find the security roles difficult to manage.

It easily manages our student data.

A superb platform for managing student, parent, class, teacher, advisory, boarding and all student-related data. We have an extremely complicated daily schedule and the software is able to adapt to our needs. The LMS is flexible and integrates with the 3rd party applications we need it to.

The only area in which Blackbaud has struggled of late is their support. As a 28 year user of the system, I can honestly say that my team and I know more about the Blackbaud products than the first several levels of tech support personnel. We struggle to quickly reach engineering and higher tier support personnel who can actually help us with our issues.

Blackbaud helps us keep track of students from the time they first express interest in our school to graduation and beyond via intergration with Raiser's Edge.

Blackbaud SIS is economical, user-friendly, and Blackbaud's commitment to ongoing development is evident in their frequent updates.

It needs further development in key areas like robust reporting (SAP, state/federal) and API support.

Blackbaud SIS provides a user-friendly platform for managing student data, improving efficiency and accessibility.

Works very seamlessly with all of our other products when it comes to intergration. Support is very helpful when needed. Set up if very easy to implement.

I would say a downside is it could be a bit more user friendly for people not too tech savy.

Scheduling has been very easy and helped up tremendously.

.SIS is intitive and user friendly - users can do a lot of behind the scenes uploads and settings

The roles are still an challenge but BB is working to improve this area

It is a well integrated solution that works with every part of a student journey through the school.

The LMS module needs to be more fully featured.
