When our PMO was established, we experimented with various app options in the Jira environment to find a suitable solution for reporting. BigPicture stood out due to its clear interface and integration of Gantt chart. The timelines can be displayed in an organized manner, which enhances the presentation. It is also convenient to adjust the dates on the charts. The information on the entries can be instantly updated to reflect on the Jira side as well. The infrastructure is stable, allowing us to rely on it for our daily work.
The support provided by the team has been tremendous, with my tickets being handled overnight. The technicians guided me in identifying and resolving the core issues.
I am aware of plans for BP's development to include collaboration with other apps, such as Dashboard Hub, which is also under Appfire's umbrella. This is good news, as it will provide us with more analytical representation through graphs and charts.
For our organization currently, we primarily use the Overview page to distinguish the reports from various departments. However, there are certain fields in that view that are not connected to Jira, so we are only able to create customized fields.
Additionally, the timelines in the portfolios do not automatically update when we modify the project dates. We need to manually update the dates on the Overview page.
The customised fields have been invaluable for us in creating a field that contains information not linked to Jira but that we want to display. Our senior management has expressed a desire to review specific information on the Overview page, allowing them to see everything in one platform. Their team has provided effective solutions that are suitable for our current needs.
BigPicture & BigPicture Enterprise really levels up Jira when it comes to project management and project planning. Many users can benefit from features like the Scope or Resource modules that can really provide a good overview if implemented correctly. Also, this app might cover some features that you might be missing if using Free or Standard plan on Atlassian Cloud.
It might be hard to 'catch up' everything as there are many different features. However, I guess it would cover most use cases people ask for. Also, the design can maybe be a bit improved so it looks more like native Jira.
Definitely project management on a 'bigger scale'. This 'overview' of the whole project is what is missing on Jira Cloud Standard plan and BigPicture comes quite handy here. Also, Resource module for resource management is quite complex and covers most of the requested functionalities.
For a software to observe the resources being utilized in between tasks, it aggregates all the projects into one comprehensive picture. The executive team can make judgments more quickly and accurately as a result, which is very useful when choosing strategy.
The application is a little slow; it takes some time for the data to load and show. A little bit more speed may be put into the developer support. The learning curve for each level of software varies, and its performance depends on the data you enter.
With this service, I have benefited since I was able to boost user experience levels, which has raised demand and strengthened my competitive advantages. As a result, I think it is very satisfied.
Bigpicture offers all sorts of frameworks as per organizational requirements like for agile, hybrid or even predictive projects. Really helpful for roadmapping and automatic work scheduling.
Interface is quite complex, require sometime to get familiar with it.
Highlight tasks which push the project timelines .
The ability to seamlessly get insights about data from the various product/portfolio combinations on the Jira platform using BigPicture application. Quite easy to use, configure and create the dashboards.
Nothing as of now. Works well with the product owners, CXOs etc to derive key information.
Good for team collboration, reporting , Data insights etc
It helps us to easily extract meaningful information from the various reports and charts created and presented. It allows us to efficiently coordinate work of teams, easily report on progress, and ensure perfect alignment at all levels. It also helps us to achieve our digital transformation roadmap.
By just drag and drop create tasks, keep an eye on risks and organize stuff. Very efficient and helpful features available like marking/ coloring and import/export of sheets. Great plugin for GanttChart and very quick response from support.
Working on Charts can feel complex initially. But after getting hold of it there are no major obstacles.
Saves time and energy sue to ease of features.
I like BigPicture because it allows me to see who visits my website and how they use this site and to see who is interested in my product. bigpicture manages how to relate to the client and makes everything easier.
What I dislike about bigpicture is that their prices increase according to the number of visitors to a website.
I recommend it because it is ideal for those people who want to increase their income levels, reducing working time and maintaining the possibilities of attracting successful businesses.
I have obtained benefits with this service because I have managed to strengthen the advantages over the competition, increase the levels of experience of the users, which has increased the demand, so I consider it really satisfactory.

ability to add additional hierarchy struture above epic
rolling up jira field data (e.g. remaining estimates, story points, end date, etc) in the hierarchy to give an overall summary of the intiatives
b-directional syncing (makes it easy to update field values in mulitple issues via the Gantt list view)
drag and drop re-organization in the hierarchy
Customer support is very responsive... and patient! :)
the only think I think that is missing is the concept of 'initiative burndown'; the ablity to project the completion of intitiatives based on the average proportion of a sprint's velocity to each intiative).
real-time overview of project status (remaining estimate, projected end date, resource capacity)
