It is quite simple to setup and comes a a low cost, compared to other solutions. it is one of the most simple solutions and so effective.

there was a long standing issue with speed. But that seems to be fixed now. I can't say i dislike anything in it.

We had quite big mailboxes and were running into limits of office 365 Business licenses. So we had to archive or extend our office 365 licenses.

We are also quite sure that in case of emergency, we can find this lost mail somewhere. We had the issue that a sales person left and erased all his email. 2 years later, we needed an email for a disputed invoice. We found it.

Now that we have been on this for enough years, I no longer have to wade through on-prem Exchange backups when we get email record requests. What used to take from hours to weeks of restoring environments to pull back data from years past is now done within a few minutes. The implementation was seamless and done with support assistance which was great. Even though we don't use this every day, its great to know it's available and ready to get the job done.

I cannot say that there is a downside to this product as it works great. The time it may take to pull the data can seem long, but in reality that is to be expected when you may be combing through 7 years of email!

Easy integration for us with 365 and keeping me free to do other things rather than spend days to weeks retrieving data from years of mail server backups.

The product is relieable and needs no big maintenance. If you have any problems the support - especially the support in vienna - helps fast and competent. The Outlook Addin is well done and users don´t need any schoolings.

You need an expert to install these systems. There is no chance to buy and configure by yourself.

Years before it helped our small mailboxes not to get full. Now...in times that a mailbox has 100GB and more...it helps to find important mails...even if it is years old.

I have used several different archivers, both on premise and cloud based. Barracuda archiver has been easy to configure and manage compared to the others.

Nothing really comes to mind as a dislike.

Barracuda Message archiver helped to store all email from compliance prospective. Also it allows to import past email using pst files.

Best part it is compqtible with office 365.

Appliace upgrade is but tricky, if done any mistake that will be worst situation.

I am storing all emails, even if emplotee left still email are easily searchable.

Barracuda Message Archiver is a set-and-forget solution. In that, once you have it configured and running, it ingests all incoming/outgoing emails with whatever retention policies you configure. It's straightforward to search and recover emails without much effort.

Their solution is a hybrid, in that you have a hardware appliance, that mirrors to the cloud for backups. The only downside is that you will eventually outgrow the appliance and need to migrate to another physical box.

Retaining and recovering emails using the Archiver has saved us a lot of time and effort. In addition, this solution allows us to check all of our compliance boxes with confidence.

Set it and forget it. Can easily search email archive to pull out data.

Exporting data is not very intuitive. It does offer a few different ways to export, but I always seem to stumble here.

100% web based interface. Support is the best. Renewals can include the replacement of the hardware.

There are some features in other more expensive products, but are not needed.

The Barracuda Archiver is a one-piece solution that can be integrated into an email system in about an hour. It is easy to implement and the searches are a lot faster than compared to other tools. It works flawlessly once you implement it because you don't need any special training to use it. Even a beginner can set it up easily.

The process gets stuck sometimes when dealing with a large amount of data. The user interface is a bit outdated and might in need of an update. The exporting of data gets a bit harder sometimes.

I highly recommend anyone to use Barracuda message archiver if you are looking for an email archiver. It is reliable and flexible and easy to use. You no longer have to worry about providing backup and retrieving important emails.
