1) Best way to arrange the data that is available in compress format for long time .

2) To deal with disaster recovery we hai multiple copies of data with prevent any Bussiness impact to user.

As the name implies - simplicity is what I liked best. I had them up and running in no time and with not a lot of effort on my end.

As a MS partner, I have an azure account that I can use for practice. Maybe powershell is the answer but I wish it was easier to take what I setup and move it into my client's environment.

Pay as you go is worth considering when thinking about moving to cloud storage.

My client is moving to the cloud and needs various data storage for many different types of data. Azure StorSimple has fit the bill meeting both their data management and DR requirements. They can choose performance with SSD or less costs with HDD.

With Azure Storsimple, it's easy to store, access and manage huge data.

Azure Storsimple has a little slow data restoration. That's all I dislike.

We use Azure StorSimple as a cloud storage application for our business needs. The most significant advantage is that this program offers remote accessibility.

The amount of storage is amazing and this helps organize a lot of data. This is also a very cost effective program that can be used like onedrive but with far more options. Primarily my company would use this as document storage and so things could be organized.

It is difficult to transfer data once it has been added to azure storsimple. So, I would recommend having a backup of all the data used just to save you the hassle.

Mostly we use storsimple to have access to widely used company documents. By using storsimple it makes locating files and using them an easy convenience.

The online tutorials made it easy to set up and get started. The ease of backing up data, and the potential for disaster recovery.

I feel there are too many a la carte charges. I feel one flat yearly cost would be better.

The price for 10s of TBs of data is extremely low.

The setup and startup is simple and straight-forward.

Backup and Restoration are done in just a few clicks with an existing Azure account.

Restoration can be rather slow from Cloud recovery.

The product works really well and gives us a ton of storage. All of the management is done via the Azure portal and very rarely have we ever had the need to login directly to the controllers. I think the best part of this solution is the fact that you can easily setup backup and retention policies within the Azure interface. They're simple, intuitive, and easy to monitor once they've been set up.

I dislike that you have to have downtime in order to upgrade the firmware on the disks. I think you should be able to just pull the trigger, controller 0 does its upgrade, fails over, and then controller 1 does its upgrade. Currently, the process involves manually plugging your laptop into each controller, running some commands via Powershell, and sitting there for two hours while the upgrade happens. Not fun.

This is a solid solution that works really really well. The support team is phenomenal and knows the product really well.

We use the StorSimple to manage our in-house file shares that serve the business. We also use it to house another copy of our Veeam backup data so that we have a repository on our ExaGrid as well as a copy on our StorSimple.
