Affordable Pricing, Robust Security Measures, Seamless Integration with Azure Services, Centralized Key Management
Certificate Management Functionality, User Interface Complexity, Limited Features for Large-Scale Use, Occasional Performance Issues
Azure Key Vault is a popular, affordable cloud key management solution from Microsoft. Users praise its secure storage of secrets, certificates, and keys, along with its seamless integration with other Azure services. Key Vault's ease of use, strong security features, and support for HSM-based keys are major advantages. However, some users highlight the need for improved certificate management, including renewal alerts and viewing capabilities. While the UI could be more intuitive, Azure Key Vault remains a reliable choice for managing sensitive information in the cloud.

easy to inteagrate with our azure resources like app service, secure for storing key and secrets with API based calling, safe authentication method.
Great product no cons for now from my end.
we don't want to expose our secret and keys to internet in that case azure key vault help us for secure key management and it's also easy to implement.
Most helpful about Key vault is definitely the security. I use Key Vault to store sensitive informations like app secrets, passwords and access them through adf using Linked service or using Secret scope is Databricks.
Even though it is for security, we can see the value of the secrets in some cases. Like, for example, in Databricks Notebooks, we can see the Key vault secret value, if the string is read character by character.
Key vault helps us in maintaining better security, as hides the sensitive informations and doesnt expose them.
Protection from data leak
Protection from threats
Limited feature for large scale use
No accountability if computer is infected with malware
IAM, Cloud security,Threat protection, Information protection
Simple to use ide. Does not require a lot of experience to figure out how to use the app
Needs additional fields to tag usernames
Allows us to encrypt all our connections and ensuring that the application is secure
This is a great online tool offered by Microsoft Azure. Which helps to save all of our secrets to one places in the encrypted format. And we can change any time these by creating versions. We are using it in our applications hosted on Azure.
I don't think there is anything to dislike this. One thing I can say it can be little simplify the process to use it easily with other applications to secure the secrets. Although Microsoft has a good documentation around there.
It solved the problems to save and manage the certificates to our local machines or on our server machines. Also Its solved the problem to store the secrets to our local machines or somewhere around on the server.
Easy to use and integrate with your applications. Security, no accidental leakage of passwords, no need to store secrets in your application. Additionaly using secret versioning you can trace how over the period of time changes made to secrets.
The Key-Vault UI certainly can be improvised a lot, as it doesn't provide search fetaure, one has to manually scroll to find stored Key which feels like an overhead.
Other than this looks good, nothing much to dislike.
Certainly recommend others to utilize the power to achieve the greater security of Azure Key Vault for storing and managing Application Secrets.
With Introduction to Azure Key-Vault, we can privately secure and save various credentials. Now our DataPipeline creation application i.e., Streamsets can fetch secrets more securely at runtime. There is no need to store secrets/passwords of RDBMS sources, Azure-EventHub SAS Keys, Service Principal App-ID and Secrets etc., in Resource file repo.
Ability to BYOK and to import HSM protected keys without leaving it's boundary.
Using the key vault get's bit tricky when accessed using az cli or ther less sophisticated tools like bicep.

I think there are nothing to dislike, as said before is thinked well. Is easy to use and to set up. I didn't find nothing relevant to says about the tool. Nice work
