Azure migrate can be integrated with other on prem tools. Seamless migration or application or Databases. Other features include data migration, services migration from private cloud to Azure. Easy to setup and configure.

Latency issue with Azure. Cluster migration is bit complex hence would like to have exhaustive documentation and training videos. Customer support needs to improve for quick resolution.

What do you like best about Azure Database Migration Service?

First of all thanks to Azure for providing such a wonderful feature for migrating database from one source to azure database. Its well organised steps lets us migrate the database from any database server without any difficulties.

What do you dislike about Azure Database Migration Service?

I definitely got nothing to dislike about this feature as it is doing its best job by providing such a wonderful user friendly feature in Azure. But I would like to suggest to provide a feature to save the schema of the source database while migrating.

What problems is Azure Database Migration Service solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a devops engineer I will be working with various cloud services like AWZ, Azure RDS and Azure database. I use this feature to migrate my Microsoft database from aws RDS MSSQL to azure Microsoft database by its best support in choosing data only and schema only and both data and schema option.

Excellent tool for smooth database migration

What do you like best about Azure Database Migration Service?

What I like the most about this tool is the guided assistance that it gives us and at the same time how easy it may be to migrate our databases to Azure, I have used it to migrate my Sql Server client to the Azure cloud and have more availability of database services

So far I have not found something that I do not like about the tool
