Azure Arc is a hybrid and multi-cloud management service that brings Azure security and cloud-native facilities to different environments. It enables users to govern and secure apps and infrastructure, anywhere. This platform offers a plethora of tools using which individuals can create cloud-native apps on the go. Azure Arc helps users centrally manage a wide range of resources including Windows and Linux servers, Kubernetes clusters, SQL servers and Azure Services alike. Furthermore, the platform also comprises a virtual machine (VM) that allows users to perform lifecycle management for VMware environments and Azure Stack HCI from a centralised location. Azure Arc further enables users to delegate security policies for resources using role-based access control (RBAC) and Azure Lighthouse. Comprising tools like Terraform, Github and Visual Studio, this platform helps reduce errors with consistent policy-driven app deployment and cluster operations at scale. Moreover, the platform even allows users to write the same application APIs that can run consistently on-premises or across multiple clouds.
