Truly Serverless Compute Orchestration That Scales Without Complexity
What do you like best about AWS Fargate?
Fargate provides the full-featured runtimes I’d expect from managed servers, but delivered in a truly serverless way. It lets me focus on building features instead of spending time worrying about server security, patching, access control, and overall health.
What do you dislike about AWS Fargate?
I think there can be a fairly steep learning curve when setting up Fargate in the context of ECS, but once you understand the basics and the terminology, it becomes one of the easiest ways to orchestrate compute at scale.
What problems is AWS Fargate solving and how is that benefiting you?
It delivers enterprise-level compute orchestration without the messiness of Kubernetes or other managed platforms. I’m able to give my end users a compute foundation that’s self-healing, efficient, scalable, and reliable, all through a first-party service on the AWS cloud. It also offers meaningful cost savings thanks to auto-scaling and scheduled scaling.

Fargate: Containers Without the Cluster Headache
What do you like best about AWS Fargate?
What I like most about Fargate is that it completely eliminates cluster management. Before Fargate, a significant chunk of engineering time went into managing EC2 instances, patching AMIs, right-sizing node groups, and dealing with cluster scaling. With Fargate, all of that goes away: we define the task, set CPU and memory, and AWS handles the rest. That shift alone freed up meaningful engineering bandwidth for actual product work.
What do you dislike about AWS Fargate?
Recommendations to others considering AWS Fargate?
Per-task resource isolation is another practical benefit that’s easy to overlook. Each task gets its own dedicated compute, so the noisy-neighbor problems that used to plague our shared EC2 clusters simply don’t exist anymore.

Best managed docker hosting service in the market
What do you like best about AWS Fargate?
I need to host docker based workloads and I don't want to manage the underlying virtual machines nor deal with the inner mechanics of how auto scaling works.
What do you dislike about AWS Fargate?
Some long waited features are not yet available, for example shorter coldstarts with image-prewarming
What problems is AWS Fargate solving and how is that benefiting you?
It encapsulates container hosting and autoscaling in one place, also don't need to do overengineering with Kubenetes.

EC2 instance and auto sacaling group seperately Better way to deploy faster without EC2

.The Fargate will take care of the auto sacling policy and deploy it, we can provide the container that how much of cpu and ram to be allowted to the container inside the fargate application
What do you dislike about AWS Fargate?
Mainly we have to enable the autoscalling option in fargate if else it will it will stauck at some point if the traffic is high
What problems is AWS Fargate solving and how is that benefiting you?

Fargate
What do you like best about AWS Fargate?
AWS fargate helps with its managed approach where not every single infrastructure need is to be defined and we get a simplified panel to start working with containers.
What do you dislike about AWS Fargate?
If we take into consideration pricing then it is something to be of concern paying for only run time sounds cost-effective but not only in fargate in many services of AWS that is something to be affected.
What problems is AWS Fargate solving and how is that benefiting you?
AWS Fargate helped when working with ECS containers on AWS and without defining compute capacity, networking like EC2 service to be of concern as it comes with ECS fargate lesser option easy working with conatiners Save time with managed service i.e.

AWS Fargate: Embrace the Freedom of Serverless Container Computing
What do you like best about AWS Fargate?
Fargate abstracts away the complexity of managing servers, clusters, and container orchestration platforms. You only need to define your containerized application's resources and requirements, and AWS takes care of the rest, including scaling, monitoring, and updates. With Fargate, you pay only for the resources your containers use while they are running. This granular billing model can be more cost-effective than traditional VM-based approaches, where you may need to pay for idle resources.Fargate supports both Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), giving you the flexibility to choose the container orchestration platform that best suits your needs.AWS Fargate automatically scales your containerized applications based on demand, allowing you to handle varying workloads without manual intervention.Since AWS handles infrastructure management and scaling, your DevOps team can focus on application development and deployment rather than maintaining and updating underlying infrastructure.
What do you dislike about AWS Fargate?
While the serverless nature of Fargate is a benefit for many users, it might be a drawback for those who require more control over the underlying infrastructure. With Fargate, you have less visibility into the server layer, which could be a concern for applications with specific hardware requirements or for users who prefer managing their infrastructure directly. While the serverless nature of Fargate is a benefit for many users, it might be a drawback for those who require more control over the underlying infrastructure. Fargate abstracts away the complexities of managing container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or ECS. This simplification allows us to focus on building and deploying applications without getting bogged down in the intricacies of container management. so now we are able to work on only developing the applications.ith Fargate, we pay only for the resources consumed by your containers, rather than for idle server capacity. This granular billing model can lead to cost savings, particularly for applications with variable workloads or infrequent usage patterns.
