AWS Datasync helped me move a large amount of data from my old self-managed fileshare to AWS Managed FSX for windows file server around a couple of GB in a few minutes. It is easy to use and the service uses an agent or VM that makes reads and writes.

when it comes to very large amounts of data AWS Datasync can't help you because it takes a lot of time, resources and an amount instead of AWS Datasync you can choose AWS Snowball or Snowball Edge for Data migrations.

AWS Datasync service makes consumers easy to use, cost-effective and makes secure data transfer in a recent update, AWS Datasync transferring agents become more effective and solved problems that occurred before.

The software works with S3 and helps to transfer large amount of data from one platform to another without much of the data variation.

Datasync though has a great protection for data but it is not 100% malware proof. Also sometimes while changing formats the alignment doesn't hold which is cumbersome to retrieve.

The thing which I don't like about this is like it sometimes sticks for a few seconds while processing any function. Otherwise, it is good, and that can be ignored

It's a great tool for data centralization, works very well with mobile, and it's quite simple to use. Everybody in the company, from developers to UX/UI designers, finds it intuitive and never needed any assistance to have access to our files.

Sometimes it's a bit laggy. It's nothing very problematic but I notice that the speed of downloads and access to different pages differs from time to time.

Amazon data-sync is the best in class service to migrate data from your servers to amazon web servers when we don't need data in our servers but we can need data at some point in time then Amazon Data sync comes into the picture. With help of data sync, we can perform many actions like migrating our data that is the main use-case, retrieving data from amazon servers, with AWS trust it provides the best data protection.

It provides almost every thing that can be needed from the data sync service , so there is none dislike point from me.
