I like Autodesk EAGLE because of its user-friendly interface, efficient PCB routing tools, and strong integration with Autodesk Fusion 360. Additionally, the initial setup was simple and straightforward, with easy management of installation, library setup, and project configuration, allowing a quick start on PCB designs.

Autodesk EAGLE could improve its performance with large and complex PCB designs, as the software may feel slower in heavy projects. Some advanced features are limited compared to high-end PCB design tools, and the user interface can feel outdated in certain areas. Better library management, improved auto-routing, and more flexible customization options would further enhance the overall user experience.

It's scriptable and has a great library. The autoroute function can be beneficial for simple projects. The schematic capture is clean and easy to use; the symbols for components are nicely designed and completely customizable. Overall it's good for anything that needs a few components and a speedy design process.

The library is somewhat limited. The 3D visualizer for the PCBs is kind of bad. The net listing feature can be problematic for power PCBs from time to time. Other than that, it's perfect.

PCB design is an intricate process of selecting correct components and weaving them together on a board with copper. Eagle makes the weaving part easier. You can follow the netlist and auto route it if you want; however you are comfortable, Eagle lets you design. I think that freedom is fundamental and can be very vital to workflow speeds and comfort. It's a very sophisticated and streamlined.

It is beginner-friendly software. Eagle has a steeper learning curve. If you are a student or have just entered in the design world, then eagle is the most helpful tool for you.

In eagle downloaded version you can not design more than two layers. Eagle have user interface problem. Eagle does not have set of keywords as other softwares of Autodesk

i used it when i was just graduated and i did i project, i designed a converter and controller, you can not simulate your design circuit through eagle, it is a basic version.

I appreciate the library of parts that are available to you and that it provides both a physical view and a schematic view of these parts.

I wish that the on-boarding tutorials were more helpful in getting started with the program.

I am generating electrical schematics much quicker than I was able to with simple 2D programs.

I have used Eagle CAD for quite a while now and this includes the days before it was bought by Autodesk, and one thing is for certain, it keeps on getting better and better. I like the flow, the fact that I get to add the symbol and the footprint as a package is important to me. This gets me to skip the process after drawing up the schematic that I now get to match my components to the right footprint. On top of this, Eagle CAD packages for most components are readily available and for those that are not available, designing a fotprint is so straightforward. EAGLE CAD post Autodesk takeover came in Fusion which made it so easy to get 3D CAD files of the board.

Post Autodesk, the cost for EAGLE CAD which now comes as part of Fusion, shot up considerably. You do get a bang for your buck but for those who would rather just do a simple board design, you get to pay for more than what you need.

With the new subscription model, it sometimes locks you out of your premium service when you stay for a long time without logging in to your account. This of course is not an issue unless you're like me and enjoy going in the middle of nowhere with a poor network to work on a design.

This is one of the easiest ECAD tools to use. If you are looking for a powerful tool with a fairly gentle learning curve, this is it.

It is very user-friendly and cost-effective for beginners who learn basic PCB design and it provides lots of properties for students or the people who are using this program for their hobbies. On the other hands, the community is very huge and you can find lots of components in the libraries. If you do not have the exact component in your library, you can easily find a similar one in the community.

It can be much more intelligent to route the paths by implementing some AI algorithms. Thanks to this new technology, the routing paths will occupy less place and the size of the PCB will be much smaller than before.

By starting from the simple circuit you can become a master in this field by using Autodesk EAGLE. In order to learn the details, you can try to build much more complex circuits.

It helps to find the best way to solve the design failures and give suggestions to solve these problems. And the most important part for me the support of the community and the technical staff. When you leave a problem that is small or big, it does not matter, you can directly contact the technical staff or you can ask the open question on the forum sites and the people who are experts in the program will help you immediately.
