The free option allowed me to make a podcast for my church which didn't have the budget for media. The product is simple to learn easy to use. I would recommend them to anyone who podcasts.
Nothing really; I did a lot of research on other services like Auphonic, but they were the best option, and I couldn't be happier. I would recommend them to anyone.
Auphonic allowed me to process our weekly services audio recording and make them ready for podcasting. It helped speed up the post-processing process and made my life easier.
I love the simplicity of the tool and the flexibilty and feature control. If you're an audio producer, looking for an easy way to compress, normalize, reduce noise and hum, and have a say in what the export format will be, this is your tool. Lots of power, right from your browser. And you can use it for free within some generous limits.
I haven't found any dediciencies yet. The tool is full featured enough that I haven't bumped into a limitation.
My work environment (Federal government) can be restrictive. This allows me to have functionality that I can't easily get through software.
It is very user-friendly, even for complete beginners. Simply upload your audio file, choose your processing profile, and hit "Start." That's it!
I don't have anything that I dislike about Auphoni at the moment!
Auphonic is trying to solve the problems of inconsistent audio quality, lack of editing expertise, and inefficient workflows and it definitely benefits users like me by saving time, and making good quality audio accessible to everyone.
There are dozens of apps and podcast hosts that you can bring audio/video from and send to, which has allowed me to build a fully automated mastering workflow. The limiter, compression, and noise cancellation algorithms are the best that I've tested as well.
While it's not something I entirely dislike,I do wish the audiogram feature was a little prettier. Doesn't seem like it's been updated in some years to compete with other apps.
Have a clear idea of your workflow beforehand and be sure to a/b test different production settings to get the sound that you need.
I'm able to shorten podcast post-production time from a few hours to under one hour and sometimes under 30 minutes. With Auphonic now integrating with our podcast host (Captivate.fm) we can now get our client recordings mastered, formated, and uploaded almost instantly.
The algorithm behind its principle is excellent. Free trial available for a test run. It has an automatic speech recognition function. With it, publishing on podcast is easy and definitely going to be a success story.
Some key important audio edition features are expected in new updates
As I said, this tool has made us better publisher on podcast. It is worth trying it out.
Auphonic has enjoined us to make more podcast publishing. We really appreciate the software
The AI based audio mastering is quick and pretty effective.
The automatic leveler sometimes gives out bad outputs.
In our audio productions, there are significant variations in audio levels. We needed an automatic mastering tool to avoid spending too much time audio editing, to keep the focus only on content.
The audio comes out sounding great. It gets the job done. Just not super efficiently.
You go through so many different screens to get the audio and sometimes multiple downloads. It's just a lot.
It helped me improved the sound quality of podcast episodes I recorded on Zoom. Removed background noise. Improved levels.

You get the audio quality equivalent to a condenser mic and I really saved almost 15K INR by using Auphonic for audio enhancement.'
I haven't really used other enhancement services because I was so satisfied with Auphonic.
It might not be a very good source if you are a podcaster recording long podcasts like 40 or 50 mins since you only get 2 hours of free credits on monthly basis.
It is saving a huge amount of money. Anyone who doesn't want to invest in expensive condenser mics for audio gain or filtering or noise cancellation can use auphonic. I was about to buy a condenser from Sennheiser but when I tried this tool I'm now planning to hold my idea since I'm getting studio-equivalent voice quality.
It really saves you money.
