What do you like best about AppTrana?What I value most about AppTrana is the fully managed WAAP with 24×7 SOC support—it eliminates the headache of constantly tuning WAF rules. The zero false positive guarantee lets us run in block mode immediately without alert fatigue. I also love the bundled pen testing and SwyftComply feature, which auto-fixes vulnerabilities within 72 hours. The dashboard is intuitive, and the bot/API protection gives us complete peace of mind.What do you dislike about AppTrana?The main downside is the dependency on the SOC team for urgent custom rule deployments—during peak hours, response times can lag slightly. Also, while the dashboard is great, I'd love deeper raw log export options and more granular filtering for advanced threat hunting. What do you like best about AppTrana?What I like most about AppTrana is how it brings together a managed WAF, DDoS protection, bot mitigation, and continuous security monitoring in one platform. It’s easy to use and offers clear visibility into threats. I’ve also found the support team responsive when it comes to helping fine-tune security policies, which makes protecting our applications much simpler overall.What do you dislike about AppTrana?One thing I dislike about AppTrana is that the initial configuration and policy tuning can take some time, especially for complex applications. The reporting interface could also be more intuitive, and some advanced features have a learning curve for new users. Overall, these are manageable but could be improved.What problems is AppTrana solving and how is that benefiting you?AppTrana helps protect our web applications from cyber threats such as SQL injection, XSS attacks, DDoS attacks, bots, and other vulnerabilities. Real time protection from threats is what we wantedWhat problems is AppTrana solving and how is that benefiting you?AI based latest feature that helps set the right rate limits, and increase bot score accordingly to the managed team. So that's really good and useful feature.

What do you like best about AppTrana?It offers an affordable SMB option for WAF for clients who need it. The others I talked to only wanted to do business with large companies. The support has been responsive, easy to work with, and have solved our problems in an acceptable amount of time. Once the system has been learned it is easy to implement for a customer.What do you dislike about AppTrana?Installation and replacement of third party certificates is difficult and not well documented. The parts of a certificate that are required are difficult to figure out on your own.What problems is AppTrana solving and how is that benefiting you?Keeping our clients and our own website safe.

As in having a 24*7 SOC team, getting zero false positive guarantees, bundled pen testing, protection from all the latest vulnerabilities, zero days and DDoS/bot attacks makes the entire proposition value for money.What do you dislike about AppTrana?Not liking something in the product won't be fair; the product does its job well.What problems is AppTrana solving and how is that benefiting you?It solves the problem of protecting our origin servers from advanced and ML-based attacks and acts as an additional layer of protection whenever someone tries to probe our systems.

What do you like best about AppTrana?What we like about the product is that even at night or on weekends, the AppTrana managed security team keeps track of all attacks, and they make sure to thwart the attacks.
