What do you like best about Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS)?

For batch jobs that are scheduled to run periodically, developers can run them without maintaining infrastructure. CI/CD pipelines are integrated as part of the service, which makes it even easier.

What do you dislike about Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS)?

The lack of flexibility to choose spot instances would have been a great add-on to ECS.

What problems is Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) solving and how is that benefiting you?

We run a lot of production jobs to ingest data periodically and similar tasks. By running them on ECS, we can track the unit economics of each run, and we don’t have to maintain the underlying infrastructure ourselves.

Easy to Learn and Manage, with Great Blue-Green Features

What do you like best about Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS)?

It's easy to learn and manage, It simple yet has great feature like blue green.

What do you dislike about Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS)?

For now I get confuse about container running servies and how they communicate with each other, although I figured it out but it bit confusing.

What problems is Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have build a backend finance app which provide finance services dashboard to client to know his eligibility after filling his/her details.

What do you like best about Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS)?

I really like being able to run and scale containers without having to deal with the friction of setting up the base infrastructure. I also find the integration with Fargate very useful because it allows me to focus entirely on the application and not on the server configuration.

What do you dislike about Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS)?

What I like the least is the initial part of having to bring and sometimes reconfigure the environment like roles, load balancers, and task definitions; that's a generalized part of AWS that sometimes becomes a bit tedious. I think something more intuitive can be done with IAM and AWS permissions in general.

It helps me greatly reduce the operational load when implementing and maintaining services in a segmented and easily scalable way.

Amazing Platform to build software solution and deploy

What do you like best about Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS)?

The various services that are available to integrate and build solution softwares. Like codecommit, codebuid, codepipeline to build cicd pipelines.

What do you dislike about Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS)?

The New UI which was introduced recently has some bugs that needs to be fixed that includes automatic logout when opening VPC via RDS or Ec2 console page.

What problems is Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) solving and how is that benefiting you?

It makes application deployment easy by integrating codepipeline, ECR, ECS and docker container. It helps me debug my application error more efficiently. Using cloudwatch i can also store my logs to review then to encounter application related bugs.

ECS Fargate is very cheap, current i have deployed a microservice application and monthly ECS is costing us only almost 100 doll...

What do you like best about Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS)?

.See there is a option to deploy application on EC2 but why i like ECS is because it easily integrates with CICD tools like Jenkins and the fargate serverless option is really good , no need of patching or overhead to maintain server

What do you dislike about Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS)?

One in a while it becomes issue when some error comes as ECS dont give direct access to inside server where containers are hosted but then we have logs option in cluster console which somehow helps to resolve issues

Hosting a microservice application easily and cost benefits which we are getting is really good as

What do you like best about Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS)?

It's highly scalable it supports Docker so that's great. Easy to cluster applications and manage networks on the cloud. It's better than E2 in its price and solutions offered.

What do you dislike about Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS)?

It doesn't integrate well with our existing api it does not organize the tasks automatically it could use ai to streamline its BI capabilities. I would like to see more information.

It's solving our container management service solutions and making our business run quicker and faster. Yes making us more productive. Business revenue has increased.

Easy integration with ECR and UI to define your service and resource requirements.

ECS makes it a little complicated to deploy it on external EC2 instances.

ECS is making it easier to manage containers and resource allocation. Also easier to keep images in ECR and pull.

We can use Amazon ECS to easily manage and deploy k8 clusters into Cloud along with this ECS is fully managed by AWS and it is scalable you can group your containers to moniter at the cluster level.

You can easily integrate with AWS Devops tools like codepipelines and codedeploy.

Firstly it is better than EC2 compared to prices and solutions. Further, it allows the usage of docker, which is majorly used to make an application compatible with all devices. It efficiently manages the network and a cluster of applications.

The only disadvantage is doesn't organize the tasks.
