VDI (VMware View) Better than VMware View!
What do you like best about Amazon AppStream 2.0?
Easy to setup, created desktop images and was able to get a basic App Catalog setup same day.
What do you dislike about Amazon AppStream 2.0?
Would prefer more options on displaying applications or controlling access to applications via LDAP Security Groups.
Recommendations to others considering Amazon AppStream 2.0?
Have a list of the applications needed and resources required for each application, to correctly size Images.
What problems is Amazon AppStream 2.0 solving and how is that benefiting you?

Better than VMware View, easier to setup!
What do you like best about Amazon AppStream 2.0?
Easy to setup, created images rather quickly and was able to have an App Catalog online same day. Also setup SSO to applications and process was rather painless.
What do you dislike about Amazon AppStream 2.0?
Interface could be made more friendly, perhaps a wizard process to walk through.
What problems is Amazon AppStream 2.0 solving and how is that benefiting you?
Replacing VDI and using for remote application streaming on and off campus.

What do you like best about Amazon AppStream 2.0?
The best part about this feature is the attentiveness of Amazon's customer support. I am able to be walked through any issues I am having free of charge.
What do you dislike about Amazon AppStream 2.0?
I tend to have issues when trying to access Amazon AppStream from different devices. This is a problem I have been able to resolve each time but it would be best if it did not happen at all.
What problems is Amazon AppStream 2.0 solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has helped with my companies conversion to the cloud and allowed for ease of remote interaction.

Very simple ti setup and use as compared to other products in the market.

What do you like best about Amazon AppStream 2.0?
Access to applications is managed completely by Amazon making it one less thing that has to be done. It is also very fast and easy to set up while customizing for your company.
What do you dislike about Amazon AppStream 2.0?
The biggest thing I don’t like it the cost. The quality you get is bar none, but you certainly do pay for what you are getting. It would be more beneyin larger companies.
Recommendations to others considering Amazon AppStream 2.0?
Understand that the cost is large, but so are the benefits. The support has been impeccable.
What problems is Amazon AppStream 2.0 solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to send our techs to the customer to get their machine online and give them all of the tools they need. Now each tech is set up the same way amd each customer gets nearly an identical experience. AWS 2.

I like the fluidity of all allowed users to access the information available to them. Any thing you need or want to share can be easily accessible from any computer from anywhere.
