Aeries is amazing

What do you like best about Aeries SIS?

I like that aeries is a single place that holds students' grades, attendance, and health data. Aeries is accessible and easy to navigate, and I can pull data from one or multiple students.

What do you dislike about Aeries SIS?

While I appreciate all of the options, Aeries offers, sometimes it is hard to find the option I am looking for in the myriad of options available. I dislike not being able to access all of the queries aeries can do.

Aeries is a great tool for student information

Aeries eliminates clutter and paperwork. Aeries allows organization and access to documents with a click of a button. Aeries is also able to create valuable reports with ease.

What do you like best about Aeries SIS?

I enjoy how easy it is to use; generating reports, identifying students, uploading and downloading testing data, tracking student grades and producing transcripts are all very simple.

What do you dislike about Aeries SIS?

The Gradebook system is complicated and not very easy to learn or work with. The only parts of Aeries that I do not like all are linked to the Gradebook function.

Recommendations to others considering Aeries SIS?

Despite the Gradebook not being very intuitive or user friendly, all of the other aspects are very well thought out and work flawlessly. Creating master schedules, identifying trends in students, reports and all sorts of options that Aeries gives which others overlook or make so complicated it is not worth the time. I highly recommend Aeries to any school as an SIS!

What problems is Aeries SIS solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it to keep track of our students' current progress, history, vital information, counseling notes and plans for the future. It has been extremely helpful in making certain students do not fall through the cracks or lose educational progress to bureaucracy.

What do you like best about Aeries SIS?

I enjoy the many features Aeries has and how well it organizes all our data. It helps to keep track of everything from users, courses, contact information, grades, and school site information.

What do you dislike about Aeries SIS?

I wish there were more tutorials available for Aeries so that we could learn about many of the features that we do not use often.

Aeries SIS is a fantastic organizational tool for any sized institution.

We are organized and Aeries integrates well with our other software systems, making our workflow much more streamlined and efficient.

Simple and easy to use!

What do you like best about Aeries SIS?

Aeries is streamlined and intuitive. Even as someone who just learned how to use last year, it wasn't hard to pick up!

What do you dislike about Aeries SIS?

Reports can be confusing and sometimes there are holes if certain fields aren't clicked.

Stores large amounts of information, easy to use

What do you like best about Aeries SIS?

I like that the software can run labels and reports easily, it saves me a tremendous amount of time. It's also fairly self explanatory, meaning that all categories are labeled and placed so that they are easy to find.

What do you dislike about Aeries SIS?

I dislike that the only way to import pictures is using a more complicated "Eagle" software. Also, until recently you were not able to see what date/time changes were made to student contacts. However, they have solved that issue very recently. It would be nice if it was more user friendly for the parents to update their information on the portal as well. As of now, it requires them to have specific login details from the school, and that can be time consuming to hand out to 600 parents.

What problems is Aeries SIS solving and how is that benefiting you?

It offers a quick easy way to access tons of information about students. It also really helps that we can document almost anything in the system, because this comes in handy when parents have important questions about their children. They can even know when they had a scraped knee or a blister at school.

What do you like best about Aeries SIS?

I like the easy accessibility that Aeries has. It is easy to use, simple yet has everything. I also like how the background pictures for the log—in page change daily. It’s refreshing and exciting.

What do you dislike about Aeries SIS?

I wish that students pictures were next to their names on the attendance page. If I have a sub, this would really help. It would also helps you find what you’re looking for in a shorter amount of time.

Recommendations to others considering Aeries SIS?

I would definitely recommend using Aeries, especially since student information can be transferred from school site to another site

Aeries provides a quick, easy, organized way to take daily student attendance and access student information. If I need to print out a student’s records of attendance, everything is logged into Aeries and ready for me to print.

Great SIS

What do you like best about Aeries SIS?

The Aeries Query is very powerful. Add the ability to use SQL and pulling information is easy.

What do you dislike about Aeries SIS?

Not all CS abilities seem to not be on the Web version yet. Have to swap between the two at times.

If you are looking for a SIS that is well suited for CalPADS and is easy to run reports and queries, Aeries is your answer. Easy to use and quick to learn.

What do you like best about Aeries SIS?

I am able to see the data from this year and prior years without logging in and out separately. I am also able to see the District or my own site.

What do you dislike about Aeries SIS?

That the teachers, admin, support staff, students, and parents all see a different version of the same information so it makes helping out difficult.

Great for Teachers

What do you like best about Aeries SIS?

I like that it is very easy to learn how to use Aeries. It is great for connecting with students, parents, admin, counselors, and other teachers. It's great to have immediate access to all of a student's important information (grades, address, parents' email, phone number, class schedule, etc.) in one place. It makes communication fast and easy, and it is great for managing assignments and grades.

What do you dislike about Aeries SIS?

It is sometimes difficult/not intuitive. For example, creating reports often takes longer than it should because I have to spend several minutes clicking through and running several reports before I finally find the one I actually want.

What problems is Aeries SIS solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has reduced the number of times students ask about their grades. It also makes it very easy for students to determine which assignments they are missing, making my job of getting absent students caught up on work much quicker.
