Efficient App
What do you like best about Actionstep?
It makes work/job delegation easier for our entire team. We have been using this app for years and it has helped us document our work (which is very useful for us as we deal with so many emails)

Some many things. For starters, 100% secure, always available in any browser, cost effective.

Our firm is now delivering more legal service, fast and for less.

Clients and 3rd parties love the portals and our users now LOVE their case management system.

Less features / integration with Google workspace when compared to O365.

Not much at all am very happy with actionstep

What do you like best about Actionstep?
The ability to customise and add own templates. Good support assistance.
What do you dislike about Actionstep?
only has tab mode. sometimes excel does not intergrate properly.

What do you like best about Actionstep?
Actionstep is useful for so many things...keeping detailed file notes, tracking progress on a matter, keeping track of who is who in a matter, but the part I like the best is being able to add forms with merge fields to Actionstep. Then, in one easy step you can generate documents with the correct fields!
What do you dislike about Actionstep?
It is a bit tricky to figure out how to format documents at first in order to generate them in Actionstep. The merge fields needed are pretty particular, but once you get it figured out, it works great!
Recommendations to others considering Actionstep?
Definitely worth it.
What problems is Actionstep solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are getting much better at keeping track of our clients and knowing where we are at on a matter. With having multiple employees, the file notes section is invaluable, so that you know what has already been done.

I love this program.
What do you like best about Actionstep?
The best feature about Actionstep is the ease with which I am able to customize the program to fit the needs of my team immediately and perfectly.
What do you dislike about Actionstep?
I dislike not being able to change a name of a Contact once it is saved.
What problems is Actionstep solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to so easily keep track statutes of limitation and the status of each and every case has been wonderful.

ActionStep is easy to use, intuitive and their product support team offer great assistance.
What do you like best about Actionstep?
Given that I'm the accountant and not a lawyer I use the system for different purposes. Also I haven't worked with another similar system so I don't have anything to compare it to. However, the system is very easy to use. The product support team have been very helpful too.
What do you dislike about Actionstep?
Aged receivables and dashboard reporting - these 2 areas need improvement
Recommendations to others considering Actionstep?
Take the time to get as much training as possible from AS resources rather than learn from others in the office who may not be using the system efficiently.
What problems is Actionstep solving and how is that benefiting you?
AML integration with Vigilance. I just need one report and the whole process would be streamlined. AML takes up time but now that there is a way lawyers can see if AML has been completed without having to dig through documentation .

Actionstep
What do you like best about Actionstep?
Actionstep allows my firm to organize and keep track of all clients. It is easy to track where we are in the legal process with each clients, and we can change the steps along the way. We can easily assign tasks for our team members, and with the billing feature, we can easily track payments and create invoices.
What do you dislike about Actionstep?
It is not always the most user-friendly when trying to customize the dashboard for different matter types. If I want to add a new table that would display client information on one type of matter, I find myself having to make this change via a convoluted means, or I am having to contact support.
What problems is Actionstep solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are keeping better track of our clients throughout the entire legal process. From the beginning when we need to set reminders to call our client for a follow up a week later, to processing the final payment, Actionstep allows us to stay organized and informed.
