Very handy customization features.

What do you like best about ZenTao?

The best feature I have come to like and rely on very much would be ZENTAO's customization feature that allows me to feel very confident using the product because it allows me to make changes by adding more functionality tweaking dashboards to suit my organisation's business model.

What do you dislike about ZenTao?

I also like that ZENTAO prioritizes document arrangement for easy access which I have found to be very helpful because using its library for storing my documents allows me to locate files quicker.

Recommendations to others considering ZenTao?

Although the architecture is perfect for me, the prices of this product's subscription plans are my main concern and drawback at the same, the cost is just too high.

What problems is ZenTao solving and how is that benefiting you?

I would recommend they set aside a budget that gives them access to a plan that offers more features.

It's open-source and self-hosted

Compared to OpenProject and Taiga, I prefer ZenTao since it's more affordable and implementing Scrum the best. Our team likes open-source and we prefer self-hosted so that we can keep data secure and immigrate with more flexibilities. I like the test part in ZenTao at most, it fits our team so much. We write cases once product backlog items have been created and run cases in a test request which are linked somehow with sprint and user stories. The traceability in ZenTao is very powerful and we deeply love it.

It's decent for project management

What do you like best about ZenTao?

It's easy to add a task for the team to see. For each task, there is more than enough ways to add information and detail. I like this part because sometimes a team member doesn't give much detail and just updates an item with hardly any information. When that happens, we request more info. Each member can add their own tasks and maintain what they need to do. It's almost like a checklist.

What do you dislike about ZenTao?

Some of the additional features are not so intuitive or easy to find. Some members of our team are not as receptive to how great of a tool this is because they haven't unlocked its true potential.

What problems is ZenTao solving and how is that benefiting you?

I've been using ZENTAO for over one year now and I love that tasks with a due date (on a certain day/time), are sent as a reminder email, which is helpful when you have many tasks to take care of. Additionally, larger tasks can have subtasks (each with their own due dates) which helps keep to-dos very well organized.

ZENTAO software

What do you like best about ZenTao?

It offers lifetime free upgrade ,focuses on projects development and also flexible to use and simple to manage . it's quite affordable for a small team. It's also designed to support scrum practice in project management.

What do you dislike about ZenTao?

No dislikes so far eventhough have had quite interactive experience with the ZENTAO software

Best software that support scrum practice hence recommend others to try to use it .

Professional and Intuitive

What do you like best about ZenTao?

I appreciate that the software can be customized and also that support is super responsive since I’ve been juggling a billion and one tasks at a time. Our test team loved using the software.

Minor bugs and also would appreciate stronger documentation features for future references

Zentao is free community version open source project management tool.

What do you like best about ZenTao?

Zentao is a best Project management tool.currently i'm using community edition for my proffesonal work, which is free and open source tool for daily work.its best feauture is time tracking for my international project and side by side document management.Another feature is annual summary of the employess and monthly basic a satistical report.

What do you dislike about ZenTao?

Zentao dislikes are in community version limited for dektop usage and also i can't download word report for my project deatils.

What problems is ZenTao solving and how is that benefiting you?

Zentao best feauture is time tracking for my international project and side by side document management and also dashboard is too good for making daily project details update

Great app

What do you like best about ZenTao?

Zentao is the best project planning and organising tool

PROS: My overall experience is excellent, it is the best project management software ever. I have used a few others in the past, but there is none that can compete with zentao.

CONS: It is a bit complex by providing such flexible functionalities. But it is worth the time and learning curve.
