It's a powerful and versatile tool that I think every development team should have in their toolbox Fantastic tool for mapping software development projects

What do you like best about Zenhub?

One of the features that I found extremely useful is the built-in kanban board. It makes it easy for me to visualize the progress of my project and quickly identify any bottlenecks or roadblocks. The robust set of collaboration tools like the ability to assign issues to team members, add comments and labels, and track progress in real-time, made it very easy for me to communicate and work with my team effectively.

What do you dislike about Zenhub?

I don't see any problem using Zenhub. It works seemlessly.

Recommendations to others considering Zenhub?

I have been using Zenhub for managing my software development projects and I couldn't be happier with the results. It is a browser extension that seamlessly integrates with GitHub, providing a wealth of features that make it easy to manage my projects and collaborate with my team.

ZenHub is an easy app to learn and use

What do you like best about Zenhub?

I like that zenhub is easy to learn and use for Product Owners, Project Mangers, QA, and Dev. It also makes sprint planning easy with the poker add on and being able to get multiple sprints going.

What do you dislike about Zenhub?

That it doesn't do a good integration with jira or confluence. Its also hard to customize based on projects.

What problems is Zenhub solving and how is that benefiting you?

Zenhub helps us be able to sort out things that are wishlist items instead of true backlog issues. It also helps us to plan future sprints in advance.

.Easy to navigate, tiles and dashboards are helpful and intuitive

Performance- we integrate with Salesforce for tickets and loading time can be between 30 seconds at minimum to 3 minutes max

Salesforce ticket management- we have realized the benefit of ticket handling and easy queue management for status of tickets

What are the best aspects of this product?

We love that it is possible to work on projects using ZenHub without having to leave GitHub. It is the only tool that we have seen that can do that. It is simple to set up and use in managing tasks which makes our team to have a smooth transition. It has become the cornerstone of our project management and development solutions as it offers more than what we were getting while using Trello. Although similar, ZenHub has proven to be reliable and seamless especially since it created in GitHub, an open source. The cost of the software is also friendly s it is free when you want to manage projects that area private and also on open source. The customer support at ZenHub is highly responsive to the queries we have and thus bliss.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There is little to say negative about the product. It has managed to change how projects are managed and since you can work on the projects while you are still in GitHub, which adds to its effectiveness. However, there is still room for improvement considering that the tool is new in the market. In that case, they do not have many features as you would expect. Luckily, the developers are always adding new features and discussing ways to make the product reliable on their blog. For the case of customization, it does not offer much for users. It would be better if they made this feature vibrant for users who want more of customization that what they have on GitHub.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

The collaboration and communication among team members working on a single project is seamless. We are able to be more organized regardless of whether we are operating from the same office or working remotely. Since it is built in GitHub, I am able to access my work and check the progress of the project with ease by just pressing the ‘B’ button. This means that I do not have to leave GitHub or switch to a different tab to check my work as it works on GitHub. With such functionalities, I can check the progress and condition of different tasks within a project and know the level of completion and which tasks are due.

Useful way to turn GitHub statuses into a lightweight agile organizer.

What do you like best about Zenhub?

ZenHub is simple to use, overlays directly on top of GitHub (which you need anyway for source control), and has the basic features you need to manage and track work over sprints. I most enjoy the ease of use, but it has also turned into my entry portal when searching for information in GitHub: I'll occasionally go into the PRs or Issues tabs, but to get a bird's eye view that presents information that's most likely to be relevant to you, it's the best place to look.

What do you dislike about Zenhub?

If you've been facing the issue that you're spending too much time organizing things and planning out in your agile process instead of using your time to develop, the lightweight solution is good. But, if you want advanced tooling and a deeper integration for tracking your work, it might not be a great solution.

Recommendations to others considering Zenhub?

What problems is Zenhub solving and how is that benefiting you?

Beyond that, there are some minor bugs where cards will occasionally jump to the wrong milestone or be impossible to move where you want them. It's often due to something that indicates a problem in how you're thinking about the process, but it can be frustrating to fight against it at times. These bugs are minor and something I face about once a month with monthly use.

Very good addon to GitHub Enterprise

What do you like best about Zenhub?

Very good addon to GitHub Enterprise. Love the Kanban boards with Backlog, Icebox, In-progress, done, review sections. Very easy to keep track of software dev tasks

Long load times especially with multiple repos

Makes GitHub a lot better

What do you like best about Zenhub?

I like that I can use GitHub just as Jira using ZenHub. I like that I can attach issues to pull requests and make them auto close

Have to refresh the page after being idle for some time because nothing works.

You can choose it if you need simple project management software with basic functionality integrated with GitHub.

Great organization and project management tool

What do you like best about Zenhub?

My team and I use ZenHub to track and organize our work projects. We create various columns to prioritize projects and indicate their progress status. This transparency is very helpful, as any team can look at our board and see what we're working on and where various projects stand. I also love that I can tag various team members on each ticket, so they'll be notified with any changes and/or comments.

What do you dislike about Zenhub?

I don't have any real complaints, ZenHub has all of the functionality I've needed thus far.

What problems is Zenhub solving and how is that benefiting you?

ZenHub has been a great tool for organizing, prioritizing, and tracking projects. It's also a great centralized tool for us to communicate with other teams and provide transparency into our work.
