You can create a very professional look for your documents and you don't need to know much about software or coding. All you need to do is upload your PDF and Yumpu does the rest. Once uploaded, you can customize how your document will be shown: the cover, the effects to turn pages, and even the option to download the PDF. Plus, you get access to analytics so you can see how many people are looking at your books/magazines.

The UI in the backend feels a little dated and not so user-friendly. The pricing is ok, but Yumpu should offer a discount based on the number of magazines you upload. For instance, we don't use all the magazine slots our plan has, we should be billed accordingly, not by the full amount.

The backend can feel a little old and dated, remember this is an European company and they are very straightforward even when creating websites.

One of our clients needs to display a book in their collection on an annual basis. Yumpu lets us create a kiosk to showcase them and give the users the experience as if they are reading through the pages of an actual book.

I love that Yumpu allowed me to create the perfect flipbook and magazine.

What I like best is that you can create captivating catalogs, that will capture consumers to your product!What I also like is that you don't have to pay right away. You can start just at 0! They also offer multimedia integration!

Theres not really much I can say that I dislike about Yumpu. Maybe for me it took a while to generate a PDF on my computer, but it could just be my computer, and different for others.

I definitely benefited from the amount of people that Yumpu has generated to my page! It's amazing to see how many people I seen on my publication!

This product is a great, free tool to allow me to embed a newsletter on my website in booklet form.

Unfortunately the free version is not the most high quality. However, I like the program otherwise.

It is a great, free software for a flipbook that allows embedding. Easy to use.

I was previously using Issuu, which I also like. But they recently changed their free plan to no longer allow for embedding.

The features are awesome. You can customize every factor of how your publication displays.

The user experience could be better. It can be difficult to read publications in their viewer, and the options to open it in full screen are not intuitive or easy to find.

Yumpu is really easy to use, it is flexible, simple to set up and use. You can create online magazines, booklets, leaflets, and flyers in pdf form in a matter of minutes. The site even allows you to personalize your pages with company logos and a short description. We use the free for life version for sharing articles, papers and promotional materials to others. The interface is very clean and professional looking and once converted to flipbooks, the site allows us to reach a much wider audience - without clogging up our own site with lots of pdf documents. If you wish you can embed the links to the various documents you create on your own social media platform.

The free service does have limitations (including sometimes, some quite questionable adverts), however, you can upgrade to get rid of these, increase your storage and pick up a lot more features inc the ability for readers to download your publications. My main gripe is the very limited search facility - you tend to get quite random results from any search whenever you want to look for a fairly defined theme. Additionally, don't try to log on to your Yumpu account by going to the main Yumpu site. For some reason, it is impossible to find where to log in from the main page - so search for Yumpu login when Googling it.

Publishing a variety of text-driven documents for people to access and read online - at a time that suits them (can also download documents if you choose for this to happen with the paid version). Great for training companies because we can send links to pre-course reading and post-course reading materials without having to print it all off for delegates.

Yumpu takes a static PDF and turns it into a page turner (like an online magazine or brochure) with a minimum amount of work on your part. You don't have to be super IT smart or anything. Just click upload and then tick a few boxes. Copy and paste the HTML and you are good to go.

Recently Yumpu has been squeezing free users more and more trying to corner you into upgrading (even if you only use it once a month like I do). While this is pretty typical I often wish companies incentivised you to use their paid services by giving you more not taking away the toys you already have. It just feels sad.

Yumpu makes reading a boring PDF a lot more interactive. It brings your document to life and helps overcome barriers that some older readers have with a magazine presented as a webpage style. They can see it is a magazine because it looks like a magazine.
