A highly flexible page layout and design application offering many options not found on more expensive applications. Its unique built in word processing functions, free from design, and a vector generating engine offer some great tools in producing documentation and communications.

Xara Page can have a slightly outdated interface and feel little out of date. Its not an industry leading application, so file compatibility with other applications can be troubling if sharing documents.

Xara Page has been used to create reporting documentation, communications, booklet publications, advertising, and more. It has a wide range of tools not always found in regular desktop publishing platforms, making it very versatile.

This software provides drag and drop feature in which we can easily add elements onto the canvas, and make the design process quick and efficient. And it provide lag free experience which increase my work speed.

It provide limited features as compare to our tool available in market and also have limited pre-built templetes.

I helps me to design any professional quality page layout without having years of expertise in design which save my time and efforts.

Its the value, for beginner designers with to understand tools. There are some illustrations for use. The direct action tools make navigation a breeze.

The limited choices for exporting created documents in formats sometimes restrict flexibility. The lack of integration with applications makes collaborative work a bit difficult.

Xara Page & Layout Designer 11 solves the problem of design software by providing an option. It allows me to create layouts without straining my budget.

I like how I can move all elements to anywhere I want on the page, it's like illustrator but makes it like as word format.

Page crashes sometimes and needed to refresh, and some table elements can broke some times and also needed to remove and create a new one to fix

Exporting created documents in different formats

It is easy to use and very intuitive at doing what it does. It does not do the most complex tasks but will help you get the look and finish of your end product. I love the program and have been using it for a few months.

It does not do complex stuff but is one of the best bang for buck software on the market for a beginner designer. It helps them understand and use the main tools quickly, and most of the skills I learned on it were transferable.

I have found that mocking up designs and publishing them in real-time is easy. Using this program helped me understand designing and drawing better on a computer system while also maintaining a professional look at the program itself.

I really like the ease that the tools present. In just a few steps we create beautiful designs ready to be advertised on the networks or for printing.

Regarding animation and photo effects, it is very limited. It is a program created more for graphic design and not so much to perfect images.

Of course. I have recommended this program to many people, and many have installed it and are currently using it.

I have created many logos, brochures, and advertisements for my clients. It is efficient and very creative. I have also created for my company my designs and my website. Xara's programs are impressive. They are my favorites.

As a software developer in my role this tool is very easy to use and I can finish the my documentation fastly.

The speed and fluidity of using Xara is unsurpassed. Everything you do is real-time, drawing shapes, editing gradients, applying effects and transparency - they all happen right in front of your eyes as you do it and usually directly on the artwork, no messing with dialogue boxes. Everything is crisply anti-aliased leading to a beautiful looking outcome.

It lacks some of the more professional features of the likes of Illustrator and the typographical/text support is lacking in places. The interface is feeling dated in places having changed little since launch but as many of the tools are ‘direct action’ it isn’t as big a problem as it could be. he marking needs some work too, it’s an excellent tool but many of the example creations are hardly high-design, yes there are some good illustrations but a lot is cheesy which will put potential buyers and professionals in the industry off.

If you want a fast and powerful package at a competitive price then give it a go. It’s surprising the power and features hidden in this package.

It’s a powerful tool with a lot of features at a low price. If you can’t / don’t want to go the full Creative Cloud route it’s a viable option.
