One of its standout features is its ability to manage Revisions and Versions under the same document, which many platforms like ACC currently lack. The user interface could be more intuitive and modern. Initial onboarding and configuration take considerable time, especially for new users unfamiliar with complex project control tools. Mobile usability is also limited compared to newer platforms. Reporting dashboards could offer more flexibility and visual customization.

WRENCH SmartProject solves the common issues of manual documentation, version mismanagement, and communication delays in large-scale construction projects. Not so user friendly. BoQ uploading is an extra task which is very cumbersome in case of Capex projects.

There are no major downsides of Wrench. It would have been more advatageous if all admin activies could be carried out from web version of Wrench.

Wrench is a outstanding Project Management system with wide range of features and customization scope that digitize EPC processes and has the potential to significantly reduce man hours consumed in conevtional Project Managemenet methods. Also, they have a highly responsive support team to always guide the customers using SmartProject.

Real time progress monitoring coupled with various Wrench generated reports like S Curve, Submission & Approval Status Report, Backlog Report etc. has helped us greatly to take timely corrective actions to prevent project delays. Wrench deployement has considerably reduced the man hours in document mangement and project control. In addition, Wrench has helped to digitize various exceution processes through digital workflows with quality enforcement, realtime tracking and audit trail. Collaboration with external stakeholders like client, vendor etc. through Wrench has helped us to maintain a centralized data platform across projects which has made data retrieval at any given time very very simple. Wrench mobile application widely used at our construction sites has digitized construction progress capturing and monitoring mechanism. Overall, Wrench is an outstanding EPC Project Management tool which stands apart with its wide range of features and customization scope.

Instant document status. No need to keep separate control sheet for the document issue.

There are no such dislikes in the issued version. But many things can be improved by adding additional facilities like BOQ release and drawing. This shall be implemented in EPC projects also.

Time to set up files in the workspace. A workflow can get too complicated. An easy to find legend for workflow calls abbreviation would be helpful.

Funelling drawing and document transmittal and good revision control. It is helping to eliminate revised drawings being issued with the same old revision.

WRENCH makes the documentation flow pretty systematic. one can track the progress of the document and reports can help in tabbing the reviews. WRENCH provides a good overview of the documentation which makes planner life easy.

For commenting WRENCH makes several different PDFs that can be improved. Like BLUEBEAM*, all the reviewers should be able to mark comments on the same pdf. This will improve transparency and productivity.

Good review and commenting tools shall be provided to the reviewer so they do not struggle while making comments.
