What I like best about Workzone is that it keeps everything in one place. All project files, communication, and requests are centralized, so nothing gets lost in emails. The real-time project tracking gives our team clear visibility into the status of every project, making it easy to stay on schedule and identify bottlenecks. I also really like the markup feature, which streamlines the review process by allowing feedback directly on creative files. Finally, the reporting tools provide valuable insights into workload, project progress, and team performance, helping us make informed decisions and continuously improve our processes.

One of my biggest frustrations is the lack of an out-of-office feature. When someone is away, there's no built-in way to automatically notify requesters or reassign work, which can create confusion and delays. I also find that Workzone rolls out updates and interface changes fairly frequently. While improvements are appreciated, the frequent changes can disrupt established workflows and require users to continually adjust to new layouts or features.

Workzone has improved organization, communication, transparency, and our team's ability to manage a high volume of projects efficiently.

I feel like there are a lot of features that are available that we do not use.

I can't think of anything specific but most of the upgrades have been super beneficial. There is only one instance where I didn't like the upgrade. When adding names, you used to be able to type any part of the name and it would prompt users. Now you have to type the beginning of the name to prompt the correct user.

I use Workzone almost every day to manage roughly 40 projects simultaneously, and it helps me keep track of statuses and updates effectively. I really appreciate the click and go navigation, as it allows me to get to things easily and is very easy to use. The initial setup was very simple, making it convenient to start using Workzone quickly.

I would like a direct connection to Office 365 so I can open a doc, edit it, and close it instead of having to download...upload...etc.

I like the email notifications, the ability to tag the needed people in comments, and that Workzone will send reminders to others on my behalf. These features ensure that while working on 10 different projects across multiple departments, nothing gets lost or forgotten. Also, the initial setup was very easy.

I use Workzone to manage multiple projects, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. It organizes communications and graphic design projects, with email notifications and tagging features that keep everything on track across departments.

Workzone is simple to use and intuitive. It's not hard to learn or hard to figure out. With multiple workspaces for different clients, It's easy to track your tasks, progress and time in Workzone.

Lower tiers don't have great reporting, it's basic. You can only export spreadsheets and you need to create your own pivot table reports in Excel from there.

Time and task tracking for multiple internal clients

I don’t have experience setting up assignments in Workzone, but as a regular team user, I’ve found it to be a great system for organizing multiple, multi-stage projects and staying on track with my deadlines. I also use the chat feature regularly to communicate with other team members. This helps us address any updates or problems with tasks and also keeps a log of those problems and resolutions so all team members are on the same page.

When I check off a task that's completed, it disappears from my to-do list, and I have to go hunting for it. It might be nice to have a tab to click on recently completed assignments, so that I can go back and address any issues that may come up after task completion.

Collaboration software is a must for my job. I work remotely for a team that is otherwise in person, and Workzone keeps me connected to my team on a level that our previous software didn't allow. It just did not have all of the features and easy to navigate format that Workzone has. I feel more in the loop now and rely less on emails, which are also easy to lose track of.

Our department has absolutely loved using WorkZone as a project management and intake tool. It has made things transparent, easy to communicate, and much easier to manage and bill. We love being able to do all of these things in one location!

Sometimes our clients have issues navigating the request portion of workzone, even though we’ve made it as easy as we possibly can.

It houses everything pertaining to our ongoing projects in one location making it easy to navigate and discuss in meetings!

WZ has allowed us to track all projects and requests within the Marketing Team in one place. We were able to tighten our overall process for more efficiency.

Workzone's project management platform is easy to use and setup. It is web based which means it can be accessed from anywhere. The platform works well for organizations of all size.

At current there are no downsides we have discovered while using Workzone.

Leadership was able to streamline processes for project requests, reporting metrics, create timelines and prioritize efforts. Workzone's dashboard and calendar views help give a snapshot of what is happening within our IT department at all times regarding projects being worked on. Workzone also allows our IT department to allocate resources, ensuring we are not stretching ourselves too thin with our efforts or setting unrealistic deadlines.

Separates individual tasks with what is due and upcoming due dates. Reminders when a task is incomplete.

It can be time-consuming to create a new project.

Problems solved - a place to put all tasks for accounts and notify the correct respondents for the tasks. Benefits - one place to put what needs to be done, and it sends an email notification to each assigned person of the tasks.
