Brilliant App

My partner and I plus many more people around the world, were scammed by a man using the Wire app. He called himself Edward Johansson which we now know to be false.
The app makes it impossible to trace him.
He also used two Cyprus based companies called T4trade and Damadah Holdings. These are owned and run by the UK company Notesco UK Ltd.
Wire is brilliant if you want to stay anonymous.

Wire

Never had a problem with Wire. Interface is clean and simple to use. Encrypted messages, video chat or phone chat completely secure. No contact information between chat buddies is shared. Great resource.

It is the perfect platform that our company use with collaboration,white boarding and retrospectives while remote.

With Wire our company is able to manage tasks across product designer whose projects are in different tools.

Has provided a more engagement experience for meeting participants and allow the collection of many peoples thoughts at one time makes it feel the best.

What do you like best about Wire?

The fact the Wire is end-to-end encrypted, made me try Wire and since then I have grown to become used to this platform and has helped me talk freely without and privacy concerns!

What do you dislike about Wire?

The only thing that I believe needs to be improved is to get rid of talk-to experts for almost everything, they can maybe provide some information on the website itself.

When using communication software for professional purposes, for me privacy is vital, Wire helped me get rid of the fear of data leakage and theft. The end-to-end encryption and their expert team is a huge life-saver for people like me!

Great open-source app with encryption.

I created my Wire account in 2017. Their VoIP chat app is secure, cross-platform and similar to Ring, Skype, Telegram, Viber, etc. You can register with a phone number or email address - it's great to have the choice as I know many would prefer to not use a phone number due to privacy reasons.
