My favorite takeoff program by far

What do you like best about WinEx Master?

Scales even poorly plotted plans easily, including dual scale plan pages. Takeoffs can be exported in many ways. It has custom routines for several things that you would usually have to use a workaround to accomplish.

What do you dislike about WinEx Master?

License management is done through a dongle. If the dongle is lost or stolen, it can be expensive to replace. While it's not the end of the world, it is just one more thing to have to keep track of. It is pretty annoying if you leave it at the office and need to work at home.

Recommendations to others considering WinEx Master?

Don't be afraid to call customer service. They are local and fantastic. Any bugs I have found were addressed by customer support very quickly, and they seemed to maintain their product actively.

What problems is WinEx Master solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is so much faster than doing takeoffs by hand it's unbelievable. It is possible to do many large takeoffs in a single day instead of spending a week on one like the old days.

Really Efficent

What do you like best about WinEx Master?

The software is really good in what it does. its performance is way better than any other software available for making accurate Cut & Fill Quantities, 3-D Maps, Reports, and more.I like accuracy of the estimates it makes about construction maps.

What do you dislike about WinEx Master?

The Consumption of ram and cpu they can make it less heavy so the light computers can also use winex master

This is a great piece of tool that will ease your difficculty in making custorctions maps and many more things

What problems is WinEx Master solving and how is that benefiting you?

The program is bugging the because it has really heavy amount of cpu usage and it just eat up all of the ram making the computer lag. Which end results in making the software less likly to be used on the less upgraded compputers.

Have to contact csr often with issues training videos cannot solve make it easier to grasp and update videos tto expand potential unknown issues reports are very detailed and visualizations are superior why or why not

nice muti features and simple layout....getting help from csr is credible

data lines are confusing, old teaching/training videos, cannot input annotated lines.
