The ability for kids to collaborate in real-time is invaluable and the stock footage is great.

It can be hard to find the music and overlays/text that you see in some of the WeVideo examples in the WeVideo media.

Video announcements are all made using WeVideo, as are most school-related videos. KIds can collaborate together on projects, both working at the same time.

The best aspects of WeVideo are first that it is cloud based. Students can log in to their accounts on any device and all of their work is there and ready to go. Secondly, there is a huge library of sounds, music, images, and video clips. Videos can be created without ever filming a clip! Finally, students can not only create videos but also podcasts, screencasts, and animated GIFs as well all from WeVideo.

There is almost nothing that I don't like about WeVideo but if I had to pick one thing it would be that sometimes it can be a bit slow with uploading content. However, this must be expected with a cloud-based program and would NEVER stop me from using WeVideo.

In schools today, we need to be thinking about the future our students will be facing and creativity is always near the top of lists that employers a looking for and with WeVideo students have that outlet. Students can create video versions of essays, and persuasive writing, they can animated stories, they can create newscasts, and so much more. So many of our students want to be TikTok or YouTube stars and with WeVideo you can create assessments to engage them where they live.

Wevideo is an extremely easy product to use, Students can work collaboratively or individually to create dynamic and engaging projects.

I haven't come across any downsides yet.

I like that WeVideo plays nice with Google Drive, and you can export to Twitter, Facebook, or embed on your website. I also like that you can export only audio for podcasting. I have used the program for over 5 years and have seen lots of improvements. It keeps getting better and better. The business is very responsive.

The program is cloud-based, so if your internet is sluggish, your experience may be slow, too.

The WeVideo marketing and sales teams are great. We started out with a pilot program, which helped out early adopters explore and fall in love with the product.

I have used WeVideo to create distance learning screencasts, videos, podcasts, and GIFs to show teachers how to work programs. Lots of problems solved with one program. I have also used the color-keying for hype videos and newscasts. Students have the same interface as teachers which is great when you want to use it with a class. Digital storytelling is a key topic that is useful in the classroom. Students will respond much easier when they can create video to tell what they have learned about. The program also connects with documents in the Google Drive, so the students can refer to the instructions if they need clarification. Finally, teachers can create projects where they supply the students with clips, and the students use their creativity to tell stories in a different way. Teachers can create groups to work on the same project for collaboration.

That this is an easy-to-use platform that allows for creativity and collaboration.

The Creator Community is a bit difficult to navigate.

The flipped classroom method, mostly. And using videos to walk students through assignments and skills.

The ease of use is incredible. It rocks. There is so much you can do and students easily can edit. All of the stuff you get with a paid version is very good. You can create content very easily.

I don't really have any dislikes. I think there could be more choice for music selection.

We are using it for video production. Staff development creation. During the pandemic distance education it helped us to be very efficient with our lessons. Staff and students are able to access this tool to add to projects or create new content. It is easy to use.

I truly appreciate the ease of use that WeVideo offers with it being a web-based application. It is robust enough for those that want to do more with a video editing program, but easy enough for those that want to learn.

If I had to choose what I like least about WeVideo, it would probably be the cost. I understand everyone needs to make the green, but it would be nice if all options were available for students and educators.

I don't know if it is necessarily a problem I am solving with WeVideo for Schools, but my role is to train educators in our local districts on how to use resources like WeVideo to their full potential. The benefit is that not only do teachers become more equipped to use WeVideo proficiently, but more importantly they are able to teach their students to utilize the tool better and therefore have the ability to create and showcase their learning.

I love that students and teachers can collaborate real-time in editing videos. The built-in assets provide a way for students to create professional-looking videos with ease!

I wish the classroom feature included the full editor. The search tool for users could be better as well, but other than that, I love everything about WeVideo!

Don't hesitate- it's worth it to have the paid version for students and staff!

I don't have any problems with WeVideo at this time. The benefits are numerous! I see high school students engaging in work when they haven't before.

WeVideo is a one-stop shop! Before WeVideo, teachers in my building were using Screencastify, Loom, FlipGrid Shorts, Meet as a screen recorder, and more. Once I created a PD modeling the simplicity of WeVideo, teachers were hooked on it! The next step was to provide an asynchronous PD showing some of the additional features offered through WeVideo and how to make videos "WOW"! I am excited to move forward and my goal for the upcoming year is to have teachers work with students on collaborative projects using WeVideo.

The only thing I have had difficulty with is sometimes the maneuvering between templates and new slides, but that is probably a user error.

I answered this in question one, WeVideo made it possible for the educators in my school to go from using multiple programs to using only WeVideo.

none so far, its features are good and helpful to users of any age especially my students will benefit from this. adding more features i think will be good. improvements in the basic features will boost this product.

using WeVideo lessen my problems with regards to projects and tasks my students can used to record and create simple but educational. yes, the students learn more and become more inclined to video recording.
