What i liked about Vmare is that it is compatible with various server operating systems such as linux, unix, windows and free VSD systems and its the leader in Vrtualization because of its flexibility

Honestly nothing is there to make IT people upset when we choose this platform but stil it can integrate more networking capabilities like support to integrate some complex firewall

Mostly wr are solving the issue or vurden of managing dozens 9d virtual machines which have installed different kind of virtual servers 9n them and are harder to manager without such platform

The ease of managing all of my virtual servers from one location. No more having to deal with command prompts and remembering hotkeys to get what you need to see certain things on your virtual servers.

This is hard but I would say one thing I dislike is is the web platform. I wish that I could use a app of some sort of software instead of having to deal with the web platform.

Get it..if you are familiar with the working of vmware and managing virtual servers. This will help you out. The remote management feature is awesome.

Problem being solved is organization and easy management. Makes it easier for management. Makes it more secure as well. The management options you have help with keeping things up to date too.

It help to access our clients system when we are working for clients offshore. It is very easy to use and protective. I'm using since last 1 year.

Many time it is slow to access the virtual Machine.

When your virtual system is slow , just logout your VMware and kindly start again.

alert is not being generated and because of that our Vcenter went down

using VMWare Vcenter is HCI for our organization and we have hosted many business critical VM. very useful feature i found is to clone a VM & take easy snapshot.

i have multiple vmware server in data center , i dont have much space to place physical server in data centet. No its very easy for me to manage all vms

The UI is modern. I'm not. I wish it wasn't.

I like the interface to be able to manage all my clusters from one single window. Allows me to make edits to all my clusters efficiently and accurately. Allows managing and backing up a VM easy as well.

I do not have any downsides to using VirtualCenter. It makes managing our infrastructure a lot easier, and not using it can make things more difficult.

We are managing all our hypervisors in one place. We have multiple locations, and it allows us to manage them efficiently. We also implement DRS for load balancing to automatically migrate hosts based on resources. It also provides for the redundancy of specific services with redundant servers. We also enforce a Site Recovery in case one site goes down, spin up critical resources in one of our other VirtualCenter Sites.

Universally adopted, so there is no shortage of information. Training is readily available as it is one of the industry standards for virtualization. It offers many solutions that make networking easier to manage.

The update process can be cumbersome. We had an integration issue with Dell Servers initially, but VMWare has since fixed it.

Having virtual servers makes server downtime a thing of the past. Cloning Servers and moving servers between networks are made simple with this product. This product allows us to test updates and software that could be problematic because we can revert with a mouse click.
