The licensing costs of VMware Horizon can be pretty expensive, which may be a drawback for some organizations.

Its flexibility and power to adapt all kinds of workstations, operating systems and All-In-One PCs

I don't remember anything specific that I disliked about VMware Horizon.

We had restricted internet access in our organization and only on a few PCs. VMware Horizon allowed us to provide access to those internet PCs to all engineers/scientists. Also, we had couple of workstations for engineers/scientists and VMware Horizon provided access to all from their offices without any user/time restrictions.

It's a simple and steady solution to migrate the provide the solution in any OS. This solution really helped in delivering the immediate need for VDI when we were forced to WFH.

We have faced issue with performance and frequent disconnection when running it with lower bandwidth and I personally do not like that it doesn't to share clipboard between the local machine

In the outrage situation like covid, horizon solution really helped to handle the increment in demand with simple scale-up solution

It's easy to implement and simple to use, you're able to access all of your office's desktop applications files and mails from any device as long as you have internet

The setup is a bit long and require much work to do but it's worth the wait and invest, also the collaboration with sccm is a bit complicated and confusing and requires a bit of work

With covid spread it helped us keep our organization working while giving access to all of the office tools from home, also it's better secured than working directly from your laptop

The role of this tool is to connect with a virtual environment to operate and do the job by using it in many ways, and this is especially important to have this connection always available, and this is exactly what Horizon Client gives me. I have used this tool for around ten years, almost every day, and It always works!!

It is hard to say something negative about this product. You can easily integrate it with other VMware software; the user interface is simple. Maybe more colors in the GUI?

It allows me to connect with a virtual environment later used to support the IT service I provide. Thanks to the direct connection with VDI (administrative virtual machine) provided by Horizon Client, I have access to other required virtual resources.

It is one of the best applications I have ever used for a virtual system; I like most is the syncing process, and i can log in from any system where all my files are available.

I have not encountered any downsides with this app, but I would be happy to update in the future if I come across any.

Virtual system/ desktop. This helps me to connect from any device securely.

I like that VMWare is easy to use and can be used across different devices / platforms. It is easy to support end-users when it comes to device installs, updates, etc.

The only thing I dislike about VMWare is the inability to remember certain customizations you make such as internet favorites or having to repeatedly map network drives because they don't carry over from your profile.

Be sure to talk with end-users when planning out what applications will be loaded to the desktop along with any other things that a user may need for day-to-day duties.

It has helped our remote workforce be able to get into the system without complicated system setups. Their information can be accessed from wherever.
